We recently enjoyed the Oktoberfest brunch at Alto Vino and it turned out to be a wonderfully festive and flavour-packed outing. The atmosphere was playful and elegant — the wait-staff dressed cutely, a full buffet set-up and beers on tap just for the occasion. The menu was rich and varied: we started with salads and fresh breads (including a selection of German-style artisan rolls), moved onto roast-style dishes (I enjoyed a succulent pork roast with mustard cream sauce), and there was a live grill station offering sausages and spitzen-cut steaks. My son enjoyed the healthier fare (lots of crisp vegetables, light grilled options) and we both shared some beautiful breads and dipping spreads. For dessert, the highlight was a Black Forest cake slice and a creamy apple strudel – the whole setting felt both indulgent and thoughtfully crafted. The restaurant specialises in Italian cuisine, the homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, risottos and authentic mains sound so tempting. Even during this themed brunch they kept the Italian elegance alive. It’s one of those spaces where the setting, the music, and the service come together seamlessly to create a refined yet welcoming dining experience. I can’t wait to come back and try their regular Italian menu as well!

We have been going to Alto Vino since it opened. It is our favourite place for celebration. It serves best Italian food in Pune. However during our last few visits the food was mediocre and we started missing the authentic experience. To our surprise in our latest visit every dish we tasted was perfect and delicious! Great job Chef 👍

We went for Sunday brunch. The variety and options are good. Desserts are fantastic. Anamika gave us good recommendations for pastas.

We celebrated our anniversary at Alto Vino and had a lovely overall experience. The food was delicious and well-prepared, truly highlighting authentic Italian flavors. The complimentary dessert was a delightful surprise and added a special touch to our celebration. The service, although a bit slow at times, was courteous and attentive, which made up for the wait. The ambience was warm and perfect for a special occasion. Overall, we really enjoyed our evening and would definitely recommend it for a relaxed and memorable dining experience.

It was quite a memorable experience. food was exceptional, great deal of efforts put in to prepare the plate, exceptional level of detailing. the service was fantastic, the server Aishwarya was very humble and helpful. we were offered a sweet gesture to make the day more special.

Went to Alto Vino a few weeks back. Very disappointed with the food. Veg choices are limited . the Buratta, winter spinach dumpling, eggplant pizza and chocolate pave were good. But other items we ordered had very little flavour - the minestrone, truffle pizza, pumpkin ravioli etc . The pizza bases were a bit dry. Expected much more from a speciality Italian restaurant. The dinnerware was basic and definitely needs updation. The layout of the restaurant is such that it’s sometime difficult to see staff if u need something while seated at the table. And the restaurant was only half full. Decor is nice. Staff could have better knowledge about the menu. Would say that it’s not worth the price even after a Zomato discount! Don’t like to write bad reviews but for such steep prices one expects more !

We always go in for a tiramisu treat , since last 2 times we are not satisfied with the presentation part of this dish The taste is no doubt good infact best in town. But expect a bit more on the presentation part.

Read this before making a decision ~~ Only the appetisers and pizza were good. Unfortunately, the main course was horrible and completely disappointing. The virgin mojito was overly sweet and poorly balanced. Both risottos — chicken and prawns — completely lacked flavour and were bland. Additionally, the beef was not cooked well-done despite us clearly specifying this while ordering. The service was extremely poor. Despite each of us ordering just one main course, the server repeatedly questioned whether the food was meant to be shared, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. Additionally, the server, Anamika, lacked basic service etiquette. While pouring wine, she spilled it and did not immediately offer a napkin or attempt to correct the situation. This is unacceptable at a 5-star property. Overall, the experience was terrible — especially disappointing as it was my birthday. I expected far better standards of food and service from a restaurant of this reputation. Staff training clearly needs serious improvement. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Pune.

it was the food. not one dish we ate was good. the margarita pizza was dry, the soups were bland. lasagna was a fail. i mean it's shocking as to how they don't know what is a lasagna? no proper layering, no tomato sauce and hardly a bit of white sauce and the chicken mince was dry. Ravioli was just okay atleast it had a good filling of ricota and spinach. after this we didn't bother to order any desserts. Being Marriot it's expensive but how can you fail in taste? waste of money.
