Very good food, ambience was good, hygiene can be better. Too many flies and chutney s were not covered from where they were serving. Hygiene required big time

The quality of the restaurant has really gone down compared to our earlier experience the dosas seem to be very rubbery in texture nd thick consistency of the dosas may be due to induction cooking

The only South Indian thing about Anna Idli seems to be its name. I genuinely don't understand the hype. For a place charging premium prices, the food and experience were disappointing from start to finish. The ambience was shabby, cleanliness standards seemed poor, and every server was wearing masks, which felt rather odd and impersonal. I'm all for hygiene, but this looked more like a scene from a medical drama than a breakfast outing. The Medu Vada deserves a special mention—for all the wrong reasons. Dense, chewy, and heavy. A street-side vendor in Mumbai would probably serve you a better one at a fraction of the price. The Masala Dosa arrived cold with what seemed like a teaspoon of potato bhaji hiding inside it. I've seen more generous potato fillings in samosas. They serve three different chutneys, which sounds impressive until you taste them. All were watery, bland, and were kept in GN pans that didn't inspire much confidence from a hygiene perspective. The regular sambhar was equally flavourless—as if salt and spices were merely a suggestion. What surprised me the most was that the restaurant was almost full at 10am, which makes me wonder how places serving such mediocre food continue to thrive in Pune. Premium pricing is perfectly acceptable when it's backed by quality, authenticity, and consistency. Unfortunately, Anna Idli delivered none of the three. One visit was more than enough.

Pathetic experience, the food is below average. The Mysore masala dosa tastes like a regular masala dosa. The ‘special’ anna uttapam had nothing special about it, was bland and without salt. The filter coffee was also really bad and tasted like homemade instant coffee. Could have a better tasting meal at a cheaper price elsewhere. The service wasn’t great either, had to ask twice for chutney, and when we were on the last leg of our meal the staff presented the bill to the table in between our meal and urged us to pay 3-4 times when we weren’t even done eating. Only the interiors look pretty but the cleanliness and maintenance has to be improved.

I went to anna idli, after ages but such a bad experience… delivery was super fast but food wasnt good at all. Mysore masala dosa i ordered which was having smell of old oil or ghee.. we got it changed but still the smell was coming from dosa. We ordered coffee and at the bottom i got some thing in the end it was a piece of dosa . Mixed in coffee.. i just puked.. ot was horrible and top of that half of the restaurant was empty still a waiter came and asked us to leave as someone is waiting to sit on that spot. It was worst experience i had in long time

If you are looking for a genuine place then please do not consider They are money minded I went today with my wife we were the first in the waiting list, however whenever the tables were getting vacant they just made sure people in large groups are prioritised regardless of making us wait for more than 40 mins. Please do not consider this as an option for your next meal.
