This review is much overdue but so well deserving. I had a last minute requirement for 60 baked quiches for the opening of my Nail Studio. I approached the BHB team after tasting a couple of options that did not work for us. Even though quiches were not a part of their menu Deodutta and his team accommodated our request. The quiches were baked to perfection! The filling was creamy that complimented the spinach and mushrooms perfectly. The crust was buttery and to die for! Naturally, they were a hit at the party! Thank you team BHB! :)

Bake House Bistro is a lovely place to eat at. Quite clean and hygienic. Their food is great and so is the presentation. If you’re looking for a place to eat at, do consider visiting here.

THE BAD: I've tried a few of their non-veg sandwiches and they were consistently greasy. The fried chicken starter was also too oily on the outside; my fingers were shining after I ate it. The meat in the burgers always needed more seasoning, making the burgers taste bland every single time - even after I gave my feedback. The prices are also a bit high. THE GOOD: The ambiance is great, the menu looks pretty good, and the staff couldn't improve anything about their hygiene and packaging in these times. The French Fries they serve with every sandwich were also pretty good, and I usually don't like Fries at all. The Pulled Pork sandwich was decent (bacon and cheese are greasy so I could look past that this time) and the chicken wings were delicious.

BHB has been my go-to cafe for quite some time now. I have got close friends that have worked here over the years and I have always found the experience to be really good. Today however, my experience here has convinced me not to step in this cafe again. Imagine how bad it must be for me to have such a strong change in opinion. The staff is where the issues started and ended today. I understand that restaurants can have bad days. They can be overwhelmed because of a busy day and that is completely understandable. Today I thought that this was one of those days for BHB, after all I know how good this place has been before. Waiting 1.5 hours just for our fries and sandwiches was forgiven easily because we thought this was a one - off event. It does not change the fact, that the restaurant staff should not give us reasons like 'the other table ordered first' when we asked why we are made to wait for over an hour for some french fries whereas the table next to ours was receiving their orders continuously. Fine, we tolerate that, move on, have a nice time. We asked the staff politely many times to please hurry a bit. Every time the answer we got was '15-20 mins'. Seems absurd for some peri peri french fries and sandwiches, right? It got to a point that the staff - very much to our surprise - began ignoring us. One particular staff member, was very adamant on telling us how he has already served us half of our order. Kudos to you man, you are half way there, I guess. We still decided to ignore this, and waited for our food, last of which arrived almost 1.5 hours after we had first ordered. The food was good, not bad. Has definitely been better before. Not worth what it cost. Convinced that the cafe just had a bad day, we ended up making the most of it and had a good time afterall. You'd think the incompetence ends here? No. At the billing section, Mr 'I got you half of your order' confronted my friend again and told him that he called him very rudely and in a disrespectful manner, which was actually my friend calling him after he had very conveniently ignored the 'excuse me' 3 times when we knew he could hear us. He had the audacity to argue and quarrel with us over this. I had enough of it by this time. Restaurant staff, accusing their customers of being disrespectful and confronting them at check out, after making us wait for over 1.5 hours for a simple order comprising of just 5 options and ignoring the customer's query of where in the world their food is, is just funny to me. If a cafe cannot service 2 tables at the same time, if you are going to make one entire table wait for more than an hour just because another table ordered before them and you will need one entire hour to service them first, please, for the love of god, shut your cafe down. And after all this, if your staff decides to be rude to the customers because they ask why their food is 1.5 hours late, it is a very sorry situation. It was definitely a horrifying experience today, which we could have easily forgotten, but Mr.'I got you half of your order' just sealed the deal for me. I will not say I am angry over the staff member pointing out something that he thought was rude to him, completely fine. I just believe he shouldn't be the one teaching me etiquettes when he blatantly ignored us numerous times. I miss the old BHB and their charming aura, friendly staff and fast service. I just feel it's all lost now.

Super TLDR: incompetent, rude, arrogant, unsatisfactory, slow TLDR: Staff was rude Service was unbelievably slow - 1.5 hours Food was mediocre - above average depending on the dish Front desk had some weird smelling sanitizer Music was too loud and jarring to have a conversation Not an adequate amount of water bottles, cutlery, or tissues on the upper floor and no staff coming to refill them Place looks nice in photos but suboptimal layout for serving paying customers food I would strongly recommend that you avoid this place. It took them an entire 1.5 hours to get our entire order ready. They started by taking 15 minutes to deliver a croissant and coffees. Next, we waited for almost half an hour before we asked them why our food was taking so long, to which they told us one of their fryers was broken down so food would take a little longer. At this point we also noticed that they had given the things we had ordered to patrons that had arrived 20 minutes after us. We still decided to wait since we were immensely hungry. After asking them multiple times about when the food would be ready (where one time they told us they had already delivered half of our order, like they had done an enormous favour to us), we received our Peri Peri french fries which were mediocre at best and still not our full order :) Now since this restaurant has its seating on the upper floor and the staff can't be arsed to pay attention to whether the guests on the upper floor are starving, I had to bend over from the upper railing and ask the front desk when my food would arrive. I said "excuse me!" three times with increasing volume where I'm sure the front desk staff was ignoring me intentionally because the food still wasn't ready, I clicked my tongue loudly to catch their attention when they finally looked at me to tell me the food would take some time. Finally, 1.5 hours after we had ordered, we received all of our food. The baos were nice but not worth the awful service. Same for the pork sandwich. When we paid our bill and were leaving, instead of apologizing for wasting our time and charging money despite being so grossly incompetent, one of the men at the front desk who clearly considered himself a celebrity chef had the audacity to tell me that clicking my tongue at them was inappropriate. Before this, I was just going to assume that this was a bad day for the restaurant but the behaviour of this employee who clearly doesn't understand the meaning of Hospitality in "Hospitality Industry" pushed me to write a review about this awful place. If you are charging people money for the food you cook, maybe don't have someone with an overly inflated sense of self worth at the front desk for an incompetent staff. This boy clearly does not understand the value of the time and money people invest into the experience of eating outside and a less privileged brat would surely do a better job.

The staff is super rude and incompetent. They took 1.5 hours to bring our order. No tissues, water bottles or glasses kept on the table. Music is way too loud and you can't have any conversations while dining. It took them almost 20 mins to just get 2 coffees. After that we had to wait an hour to get a 2 sandwiches and some fries. We complained multiple times and every time that said that the order will require another 15 mins to prepare. They staff was practically ignoring us when we went to ask for the status of our order. While paying the bill, instead of apologizing for wasting our time and charging us for the awful and incompetent service, the man at the desk had the audacity to tell us to speak properly and politely with them. This kind of behaviour from an employee from the 'Hospitality Industry' has forced to write such a review. My friend used to be the Head chef at this place many months ago and this place was much much better than this. The food quality used to be so much better before and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I sincerely request the owner of this place to look into this matter immediately.

Horrible food!! Me and my sister have fallen sick after eating here. Standards of hygiene are not being followed. We had the chicken burger, veg burger and coffee.
