Visited the newly started Bangalore Canteen Sinhgad Rd outlet and am Happy to update Food quality is up to the mark and doesn’t let you down … We had Open butter Masala Lodi dosa, Sada podi dosa, and off-course Filter coffee (This is a Must and you can get with /without/less sugar as per your taste) Exciting news for Sinhgad Road Foodies Do Visit for authentic South Indian dishes.

The dosas are decent specially the garlic onion ghee roast dosa is tasty but the newly introduced filter coffee cheesecake is not really a cheesecake but more like a tiramisu or a whipped cream pastry. You can avoid that. Rest menu is good.

Taste and quality of dosa is not good. I tried here 2-3 times and had disappointing experience every time. Their dosa’s are too thick like uthappas and were burnt most of the time in attempt to make it crispy.

The food prepared especially idali had a sort of thick layer at the bottom. It wasn’t fresh. There was so much miserliness in serving sambar and chutney. No proactiveness and curtesy to keep the tables clean and available for coming customers. Overall the experience was BAD. Sure this place is off the list for me. Definitely to be avoided if you want fresh and authentic south indian food.

Underwhelming Experience The hygiene was concerning, with a bad odor from the cleaning rag disrupting the ambiance. The Dosa Garlic Roast was thick and chewy, with a bland Podi chutney. The Thatte Idli was dense and dry, far from the soft, spongy texture expected. Overall, the meal was disappointing, offering little value for money. An below average experience at best.

Most pathetic food. i had a ghee podi masala dosa. the sambhar was thin watery with a layer of oil on it (tarri). It's evening now and I have got gas and acidity eating it. never going back ever.

This outlet of Bangalore canteen is pathetic. The guys managing this outlet are rude. they don't treat the customers properly. they straight away say no to any request made.

when ordered three items, only two items were packed & sent. The service is very slow. it takes 30 mins to prepare your order even when you are at the restaurant.
