After reading so many negative reviews I went for lunch today We order for a egg rice thali and a chicken rice thali. The food tasted so good and it seemed very light and home cooked just how we cook at home ( in Kolkata) The ambience was decent and everything appeared clean to me. The owner was very warm and friendly and we chatted a lot as he is from West Bengal himself If you want bengali food please visit this place without going for the negative reviews. Loved it :)

If you have a fondness for Bengali food, then this is the place to go. The restaurant offers an extensive selection of Bengali cuisine that is sure to satisfy your cravings. Despite being a small establishment, the restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating options to cater to your preferences. During my recent visit, I tried the Bengali biryani, which was absolutely delicious. However, I did notice one issue with the restaurant's cleanliness. The person making the chapatis was using a cloth to clean their hands, which they then used on the chapatis as well. This made me a little uncomfortable, as hygiene is an essential aspect of any dining experience. Overall, while the restaurant's hygiene practices could use some improvement, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. If you're in the mood for some authentic Bengali cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Maine food order Kiya tha aur upar se mera phone bhi kuch problem hogayi thi. Maine fir dobara msg kiya call Kiya lekin mera food order cancel kaar diya aur paisa bhi refund nahi diya. this is not fair. bahut galat kiya.

The owner of the restaurant is fraud. place is too dirty. People are come for food and experience with high expectations but they have spoiled the day only . they are very Rude with most of the table . washroom and dine in section is too dirty top of that don't know how much dirty will be their kitchen. I request #Food department to do a inspection. Dhaba is more professional than this . The owner only doesn't know how to talk politely with customer. they are serving low value food and charging high value to the customer. Zomato you should ban this restaurant and do police complaint.

I have never been to this place . But recommended one of my friend to visit this place as he was looking for authentic Bengali food. Now he is really annoyed . Food quality has been compromised drastically. No hygiene ,sanitation . Also staff used abusive language . Apologies to Bengali sweets and food for such harsh review . But standards have really gone bad to worst .

Zomato and this restaurant together cheated us as they had items missing from the order and upon raising the concern the restaurant will not answer your phone calls and zomato will confirm it with the restaurant as if the restaurant words are the source of truth and customers are idiots. VERY PATHETIC EXPERIRNCE.

There are cockroaches roaming around on the table where food is served. The food quality has deteriorated significantly. Ordered chicken chap and it was not washed properly. Overall very poor experience.

Waited 1 hour to get the ordered prepared(not picked). Cannot comment on taste because i cancelled the order. But waiting time is alot. Please work on the speed.

The food isn’t really authentic, plus made in really bad oil. The staff is ill-behaved and too “proud”. Pathetic customer service.
