One of the best South Indian breakfast places I’ve come across bear Baner/Balewadi. The food here is always fresh and made with care. The poha is prepared only after you order, so it tastes light and homely. The mini idlis with chutneys are a real winner – both chutneys are so good that you’ll end up asking for more. Upma is flavorful and not oily, served with a nice touch of sev on top. And the filter coffee – just wow. It’s authentic, frothy, and strong. Honestly, you can’t stop at one. I always end up having at least two. What makes this place stand out is the way the owner treats customers. Small things like extra podi masala, making coffee stronger if you ask, or paying attention to the special notes we leave while ordering on Zomato/Swiggy – he takes it all seriously and makes sure we’re happy. The hygiene is great too, which adds to the overall experience. Highly recommend visiting in person. It’s definitely a must-try spot for anyone who loves authentic South Indian breakfast and filter coffee.
