Quality and taste of the food was excellent, though the price was a bit too high. All the items offered tasted good which is a very rare experience when you order a thaali. Items offered were Poori, Chapati, Paneer Matar, Matki, Masale bhaat, papads, dhokla, bhajiya, Batata bhaaji, dahi vada, Shrikhand and Sitafal Basundi

I visited Durvankur Dining Hall at Sadashiv Peth, Pune, Maharashtra with my family today, i.e. 29th Oct. 2024 which is Dhanteras day. I expected a rush at the restaurant but to my surprise there were a lot of vacant tables which was unusual at Durvankur as I have visited with my family and friends earlier multiple times. But this time it was after a very long gap of at least 3 years and hence I was excited too, as I always liked the food at Durvankur Dining Hall especially the puran poli and thalipeeth. When we entered the dining hall we had to pay upfront the total amount which was calculated as per person basis. It was 450 per person and we were 3 people so I paid 1350 rupees upfront and sat at the table. The plates were served with, 2 wet sabji (one paneer and other was amti) 2 dry sabji (one was aakha masoor and the other was yellow potato sabji) Rabdi Dahi wada Pakoda Khandvi Puri / Chapati / Puran poli Papad Modak When I started eating what was served in my plate, I was completely shocked by the quality of food. The quality of food was completely off, I wish I had less than 1 to rate the food quality served at Durvankur. I had not expected such a drop in food quality by Durvankur. My past pleasant experiences have all been lost and they have been overwritten by an not good experience of dining at Durvankur. Apart from Chapati, Puri and Pakoda, nothing was good to savour and create good memories of the food which was served at Durvankur today. The puran poli had hard edges. The modak had a thick coating of flour and little filling. The papad was soggy The paneer sabji and the Aamti were the worst. The Khandvi was just "Ok". The aakha masoor sabji was made to taste like it felt the cook did not want the customer to come again. Street side dhaba would make it better I think. ultimately tasteless and bland. I did not even try dal rice and just got up from my table and walked towards the counter where I paid the money. I did not ask for a refund or such but, I complained about my today's food quality experience to the supervisor who was walking all over the dining hall and overlooking every customer's needs. But, the supervisor did not pay much heed and just said that, it should not happen and walked away to attend another new customer coming to Durvankur. And when I complained about my experience to the counter, the person on the counter asked me to give feedback. That's all. The feedback book was a simple notepad with a pen to write feedback. I have given my feedback at the restaurant/Dining hall. But I do not think my feet and heart would ever take me again towards Durvankur Dining located at Sadashiv Peth, Pune, Maharashtra.

Food quality was not at all up to the mark. There was a hair strand in our piece of Dhokla. Owner was shouting at waiters and indirectly on customers to finish their food asap to make space for customers who were waiting. Very chaotic experience and such a waste of money. Felt like sitting in a fish market to eat.

Quality degraded, quantity of items reduced, service slow too and they didn't serve sweet, they serve super cold desert which they called sweet. Super cold desert (sweet) hard to eat by human and if you eat it then become victim of cold. It was one of the my liking place but not now days.
