Ambience and food were good. The drinks were well made and tasty. Veg sushi was too expensive for what it offered; can be avoided. We had a water-drippage issue from the overhead AC vents where we were seated and nothing could be done about it. I hope it has been fixed now. Good place to try variety of east Asian dishes but certainly on the expensive side given that there are many vfm options available nearby.

Traveled 1 hr 40 mins for ‘unlimited sushi after 8 PM’ — turns out, the only unlimited thing here is their arrogance. Manager deserves 5 stars for bad attitude though. 👏

We had a wonderful meal at Eight, where each dish had its own charm. The Hot and Sour Chicken Soup was a great start — flavorful and nicely balanced. The Assorted Seafood Yasai was fresh and light, with perfectly cooked and juicy seafood. Prawn was the highlight. The Sanpai Chicken Claypot packed a punch with crispy fried chicken, fragrant Thai sweet basil, earthy and meaty shimeji mushrooms, and sun-dried chillies — a perfect balance of heat, crunch, and aroma. The Lamb Chop Mongolian stood out — juicy chops with a beautifully balanced glaze. The Pork Tonkatsu Ramen followed, rich and satisfying with silky broth, springy noodles, and perfectly crisp pork cutlets. But the real showstopper was the Sticky Toffee Pudding — not even on the menu, yet it completely stole the show. It came warm and soft, with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream slowly melting into a bed of luscious caramel sauce. The contrast of hot sponge, cold ice cream, and velvety caramel made every bite decadent and comforting at the same time. A pot of fragrant Jasmine Tea tied the whole experience together perfectly, and rounded everything off beautifully. Every dish felt thoughtful and well-executed — a truly memorable meal
