Had a really good experience at English House, Viman Nagar. The ambiance was amazing, the music selection was great, and the overall vibe was very enjoyable. Special thanks to Animesh for the assistance and hospitality throughout. Highly recommended for a good time with friends and family.

Visited English House yesterday, and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. That pretty much set the tone: zero coordination among staff. Service was extremely slow and unprofessional. For the first 20 minutes, we didn’t even get basic water despite ordering it through the app and asking the waiter multiple times. Only two staff members seemed to be handling everything, and there was no sense of organization at all. Food was equally disappointing. We ordered three appetizers, and they took 20–30 minutes to arrive. The quality did not match the pricing or expectations. The place itself has good ambience and a nice setup, but it’s completely wasted due to bad management and service. Right from the start, things were poorly handled. We were told certain drinks were “not available but it was available and clearly everyone was getting their drink served from bar” when I checked directly at the bar, they said it was available i literally needed to come downstairs and ask manager to provide 1 drink then he said its available you can ask caption to serve which he denied when ordered. the staff simply said no drinks can be served. that guy was rude. the bill was around 4-4.5k and discount is of 50% so for ₹2.25k we got really bad experience in dining. On top of that, billing practices felt questionable. Despite heavy discounts via apps, they refused to remove the service charge even when asked—something that shouldn’t be forced, especially with such poor service. Overall, this place looks promising from the outside but fails badly in execution. Between the slow service, lack of coordination, and disappointing food, it’s simply not worth it. Would not recommend and definitely won’t be visiting again.

Their so-called 50% discounts are deceptive and end up increasing the actual bill. Once they learned I was using Zomato Pay, they started forcing separate payments for food and liquor. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, they brought in a bouncer while I was calmly explaining Zomato Pay policies. They lure customers with in-house offers, then later claim, “You didn’t inform us you’d pay through Zomato Pay.” That makes no sense — customers should be free to choose any payment method at the time of payment.

Very bad food, timing and behavior staff was too rude to girls. Manager tried to handle butt the employee didn't had any way to talk to guests.
