I was in Pune for a night. While back to Mumbai we took a pit stop at this café. The ambience was very chic had an outside and inside seating area. We tried:- . Pink sauce pasta - Vey well prepared was saucy and had good flavours served with a side of garlic bread . Three cheese jalapeno & olive sandwich - The sandwich looked pretty normal to me but when I took a bi I was in heaven for a moment. It was so cheesy. . Mango cheesecake - I tried better mango cheesecakes but this one was on par. The texture was very smooth . We even got some of their recommended Chocolate Goeey cookies for home . Overall a great place to hangout with your friends and loved ones.

Love their hazelnut cappuccino, Guacamole was a surprise today, it tasted superb! Coffee with Almond biscotti was delicious as well! This place is love 😍

German Bakery is a legacy restaurant and usually very crowded, but this visit was disappointing. The upper seating area felt claustrophobic, and staff were unresponsive to AC requests. No water or tissues were provided even after asking multiple times. Simple customization (white bread instead of brown) was met with odd reactions. The sandwich was cold, though the fries were warm. Service and savory food quality need improvement for a brand of this stature. Desserts, however, are good.

The Shakshuka was below expectations. The cold coffee wasn’t served cold enough, and the stuffed mushrooms would benefit from a better, crispier coating.

Quantity was too less. I go to the german bakery in lonavala every month, they have great food portions The kp one on the other hand that i visited today, their quantity was half compared to what the lonavala one serves. They didn’t serve bread with the pasta either and then proceeded to charge service fee

We ordered chicken kiev - which was below average. cottage cheese stroganoff which was basically cottage cheese in mushroom sauce and rice and tasted just as boring as it sounds. the caramel almond crunch turned out to secretly be a chocolate cake!

Quite an underwhelming experience, German Bakery needs to up their game. I think they are relying on nostalgia, much better cafes exist at the same price point.
