If you’re in Lonavala and craving some authentic Maharashtrian street food, Golden Vada Pav is definitely worth a stop. This legendary snack joint has been a favourite for decades and you can see why — it consistently serves up hot, flavourful bites that hit the spot every time. The vada pav here is iconic: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and served with their special spicy chutney that adds a juicy kick with every bite. Beyond the vada pav, we enjoyed other treats like moong dal bhaji, samosa pav, dhokla and even jalebi — all perfect quick bites if you’re exploring the town or need a tasty pit stop. One of the best things about this place is how quickly the food is prepared and served, even when the crowd is buzzing — and trust me, it is always bustling! Locals and travellers alike line up for fresh snacks throughout the day, which speaks volumes about their reputation and consistency. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that it’s a simple, takeaway-style setup with no formal seating — but that’s part of the charm and street-food experience here. Overall, great taste, speedy service, and classic flavours make it a must-try when you’re in Lonavala!

It's on the outskirts of Lonavala but is a must visit place for wadapav and samosa lovers. The wadapav tastes spicy and delicious. It gets served with soft pav and spicy green chilli chutney along with sauce. The shop is always crowded with people of all ages. The samosa isn't that spicy but is decent but the crowd puller is their wadapav with the jolly owner who is fast in providing people with his services. There is no dining area and only takeaway orders are accepted. If you happen to be in lonavala then do visit Golden chikki and wadapav.

I had seen this place about a month ago and it was crowded. We finally got a chance to visit this place today. There is a vada pav shop right next to this shop but no one wants to visit it. Now coming to this place the owner talks a lot and needs to concentrate on the work at hand. The chutney is terrible and we threw it out. The vadas were really good. The were one of the best I have eaten. The moong bajiya was not that great. Overall a must try from me.

The place is too over hyped but I didn't like their Vada pav much it didn't live upto the name they have.i Have eaten better Vada pav in Pune and Mumbai. The Vadas were ok but had high amount of soda. Didn't like the taste much. Only one time try kind of place.

We had the wada pav and the bhajiya from here the taste was not upto the mark compared to it's popularity and just wanted to say them that once I had this my stomach was paining and feeling too heavy which is sad but hopefully I think u will look into the quality and make it up to the mark.

Horrible and extremely over rated wada pav! The wada was overloaded with turmeric making it bitter. Samosa was not tasty as well....it only tasted of coriander seeds! I would not suggest this place to anyone.
