Gujar Mastani a place serving happiness in the form of Mastani since 93 years and 3 generation. They serve more then 40 varieties of mastani and ice-creams. One of the oldest and finest places of Pune. My Favorite is Mango Mastani.

Was on a one day trip to Pune, to visit the Dagduseth Ganpati and try the classy food at Pune. After having a long day, all tired I finally arrived at Mastani house. It was time to end the hot day with some awesum desserts and leave for Mumbai. Ambience: As soon as I entered the Mastani house I took first table next to the door. I gave the order and then realised I was sweating. There was just one ceiling fan in the centre of the room and that too was in stopped state. There was a standing floor fan which was engaged on an another customer. Finally I moved to another table outside the door, and it was suprisingly cool and breezy ouside. The table outside actually lit up my mood. Food: We had ordered Gulkand mastani and Spl. Malai kulfi. The order came without a lot of delay even though the place seemed to have a good amount of customers. Gulkand mastani was some thick and slightly rose flavoured milk, some concentrated unevenly stirred gulkand at the bottom and a large vanilla icecream scoop garnished with a cherry at the top. The first sip was heaven. The milk was really thick(icy) and consistent. Moving the straw deeper into the glass gave a lot stronger flavour of gulkand. With an already full stomach it felt slightly heavy, but overall was a delicious experience . The Spl Malai kulfi was garnished with a bit of dry fruits and tasted comparatively better than other malai kulfi's I had tried before. It seemed and tasted as if it was freshly prepared. I left the Mastani house satisfied with taste and stomach full of deserts. They can do a bit well with the ambience inside the house, especially the cooling arrangements and customer attendance/staff. The menu and taste is already fantastic and satisfactory.

Thought it is the oldest mastani house in the heart of the Pune,the flavors and taste is not maintained the same as it was in initial.. But satisfactory rates according to the taste.. Great variety of flavors. Not that much hygienic.

We ordered Bajirao Mastani and Kajukand ice-cream, both of them being their bestsellers. Mastani was disappointing. It was just tasteless milk topped with ice-cream. And Kajukand ice-cream turned out to be pretty good.

The price and the menu don't balance themselves. Taste is average . Not good as it used to be .Quality not maintained . Ambience- 3/5 Service -2/5 Food- 2.5/5

We got there to try some different type of mastani here. By looking at the place, we thought that this is a famous place, but it was only after having mastani we realized why it is rated so low. Pineapple mastani just tasted like some cough syrup, on the other hand, mango mastani was about average.

The quality of the bajirao mastani has gone from bad to worse. The initial days of Gujar mastani are now no more. The special bajirao mastani didn't even have dry fruits. When I asked for it the manager said they put only one spoon and it's invisible 😂

Quality not up to the mark... was looking for premium quality mastani but got average quality mastani... not satisfactory... rates are ok but quality needs to be improved...
