Chul Mutton, Balewadi – Authentic Non-Veg Thali Experience We recently visited Chul Mutton in Balewadi, known for its authentic non-veg thali, to satiate our craving for traditional flavors. Here’s a detailed breakdown of our experience: --- Location: 4/5 The restaurant is located in a prime area of Balewadi, making it easy to find. The Google Maps location was accurate, and we had no trouble reaching the venue. --- Parking: 3/5 One of the minor inconveniences is the lack of dedicated parking. While the restaurant does not have its own parking space, there is ample parking available in the adjacent area. However, securing a spot depends largely on your luck, especially during peak hours. --- First Impression and Ambience: 4/5 The restaurant’s decor immediately gives off a rustic, village-like vibe, adding to the authenticity of the dining experience. The seating is comfortable, and there was no waiting time when we arrived. However, as time passed, the crowd gradually increased, which suggests that it’s a popular spot among locals. --- Price, Menu, and Taste: 4.5/5 The menu is well-curated, offering a variety of non-veg options at reasonable prices. However, the vegetarian choices are quite limited. Taste: The food was flavorful and not overly spicy, making it enjoyable for everyone. My wife, who is a vegetarian, ordered Brinjal Bharta, which had a rich smoky taste and was perfectly cooked. Chicken Thali: My brother-in-law and I opted for the Special Chicken Thali. While the taste was quite satisfying, we felt that the quantity of curry in the main chicken dish could be slightly increased for a more fulfilling experience. Solkadhi: We all tried the Solkadhi, which was refreshing and soothing, complementing the meal perfectly. Chapati: A special mention for the chapatis – they were generously sized and quite fulfilling. --- Service: 2/5 Unfortunately, the biggest letdown was the service. Despite the thali having a set menu, the service was extremely slow for everyone. Given that thali service usually requires minimal preparation time, this delay was quite disappointing and hampered the overall dining experience. This is an area that definitely needs improvement. --- Payment: 5/5 The restaurant accepts all modes of payment, which made the checkout process smooth and hassle-free. --- Conclusion: 4/5 Chul Mutton offers a great non-veg thali experience with authentic flavors and a pleasant ambiance. However, service speed is a major concern that needs immediate attention. If they improve this aspect, they will undoubtedly emerge as a top choice for non-veg lovers in the area. --- Billing Details: Total Bill: ₹1353 for three people Offer Applied: None Payable Amount: ₹1353 If you’re in Balewadi and looking for an authentic non-veg thali, Chul Mutton is worth a visit – just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

Overall experience wasn’t great 1. Mosquitoes around around the 1st floor seating area 2. Food was served for 2 of us and the third person had to wait for long 3. Unlimited thali means unlimited roti and rice. That’s all. 4. Curry can be better than 5. Lower seated dinning table isn’t comfortable

One of the worst experience. Service has been worst that I have ever experienced. Go only if you want to spoil your evening and mood. Food quality is poor. We ordered Sp. mutton thali and there were only few bone pieces. Mutton rassa taste was bad, khemma doesn’t taste like mutton.
