The place has authentic maharashtrian style dishes. Seeing that it was mainly focused on non vegetarian did not expect veg to be tasty. The Vegetarian items were equally good and the service was very quick

Visited the restaurant after almost 4 years . Taste & quality has been maintained It’s a huge hall with a separate area for family room . Regular Plastic chairs for seating Good place for thalis , especially mutton thalis . There were many customers opting for veg thali too . We ordered : Kaveri special Mutton thali : Priced at Rs 490 Had unlimited jwari/ bajri bhakri/ chapati , indryani rice & rassa . Consisted of Alni mutton/ mutton ukad , mutton fry , rassa , thecha , kanda limbu Basic Mutton thali , sufficient number of dishes . Best to enjoy rassa with rice & bhakri ( Biryani becomes unnecessary and can’t enjoy plain rice with rassa then) Mutton pieces were good & sufficient I prefer adding rassa to the mutton ukad and eating Kaveri special VIP mutton thali : Priced at Rs 570 Had unlimited jwari/ bajri bhakri/ chapati , indryani rice & rassa . Mutton Soup , Alni mutton/ mutton ukad, mutton fry , rassa, boiled egg in rassa , thecha , kanda limbu , mutton Biryani & Solkadi ( Additional in VIP thali is the soup , biryani , boiled egg & solkadi) Rassa is spicy and delicious tastes best with bhakri & indrayani rice . Soup is very delicious Boiled egg isn’t really needed since there is enough mutton . Biryani was quite average in taste and less quantity. Solkadi was good when included in the thali but buying it separately at Rs 50 isn’t worth it. Mutton pieces were good & sufficient Wash basin at one corner , could have been better maintained though .. Lighting needs to improve in the basin area Aerated drinks & Mineral water is at MRP Individual items can be ordered but that becomes costlier so better to order thali A bucket of hot rassa was served at the table to take as much as we wanted. Note : Place gets very crowded so reach there before peak lunch/ dinner time Parking available

Hotal Kaveri This is the happening famous place on the Pune Nagar Road famous for their maharashtrian style bhakhri mutton. Large expansive seating area with ample parking space. Instagramable entrance with bull and rooster statues to take photos before you get in or if you have to wait. Interiors are not posh with plastic chairs and large black stone tables but comfortable with fans above each table. Sharing the thali is not allowed and they have a wide range of chicken, Mutton and veg options. Items can be purchased individually too. The indrani rice along with the rasa and bhakri or chapatti so you will definitely leave with a full tummy. Slightly on the spicy side but you can ask them for a less spicy version. Mutton fry thali and VIP Mutton fry thali is what we had. The VIP thali has an additional white Rassa, Mutton biryani rice and egg curry with 1 boiled egg apart from the mitton fry and raasa. Also the VIP thali has a glass of yummy sol kadi. All the cold drinks and water are at MRP. They have a seperate family section. Overall food wise an awesome gavran dhaba feel and a must visit alone or with family.

I guess this is the only hotel till the date where I had spicy chicken or mutton curry... Need to improve ambience too much also requires hygiene and well trained staff. Rest all is well

Hotel Kaveri located on the Nagar Road, Wagholi is known for its Kolhapuri Cuisine. Their menu consists of almost all types of Chicken/Mutton thalis. We opted for their Chicken Fry Thali and veg thali for a kid. Chicken Fry Thali consisted of Chicken Fry(Limited) with small size 5-6 Chicken Pieces, Chicken Rassa(Unlimited), Bhakri(Unlimited), Rice(Unlimited). The taste was average as I did not get any exceptional aromatic flavours from their rassa not fry. It was very spicy but wasn't flavourful. The thali was priced at 320Rs which I did not feel worth the money. Veg Thali had two types of sabji one paneer and one usal, one dal and one kadi. Taste was good and mildly spiced. Service was also not that great as we had to call out twice for every small thing. This place is very big in terms of space however Ambience is very basic with simple table and chairs and nothing exceptional to talk about. Overall i personally felt it's not worth the money. People who loves very highly spicy food can give this place a try. They have ample amount of Car/Bike parking.

मी ५ वर्षानंतर आज इथे जेवायला गेलो होतो. कारण ५ वर्षांपूर्वीचा अनुभव, चव. पण आज पुर्ण निराशा झाली. चव एकदम बेक्कार . बेचवच. मटन रश्शात ५ छोटे छोटे पिस आणि त्यातले ३ चरबीवाले. थाळी ठेवल्या बरोबर मी वेटरला ते निदर्शनास आणुन दिले पण त्याने ऐकुन, पाहुनी दुर्लक्ष केले. जेवण झाल्यावर पैसे देताना मालकाला पण सांगितले. पण मालक एकदम नाककीय पद्धतीने त्याला म्हणतात, बाळा बदलुन द्यायचं होतं मला म्हणाले घ्या सांभाळून या वेळेस . काय म्हणाव आता!!!😀

I’ve never been this disappointed with a restaurant in my life. My visit to Kaveri Hotel was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The food was horrible – tasteless, half-cooked, and felt like it had been sitting out for hours. It was nowhere near what the menu promised, and honestly, it was barely edible. I felt like I completely wasted my time and money. But what truly shocked me was the attitude of the owner. He was beyond rude and completely unprofessional. When I politely tried to share my feedback, he responded in an aggressive, arrogant manner, showing zero interest in improving or even listening. It’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident – I later found out he has a reputation for treating customers badly and speaking rudely to everyone.

Terrible Decline in Quality and Service. This restaurant used to be good, but the food quality has dropped significantly. Worse, the staff completely ignored my feedback, and the owner was rude and dismissive. Extremely unprofessional attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore.

These guys don't even deserve 1* staff behaviour is not good , also they are not serving tasty food. Not good for team and family.
