Our Spicy Adventure at Hotel Sandeep, Near Balgandharva Pune 🌶️😅 We four brave foodies marched into Hotel Sandeep, dreaming of a royal non-veg feast. Ordered half Mutton Handi, one Tandoori Chicken, and the famous Kharda Mutton (the captain warned us, “It’s very spicy!” — but we thought, how bad can it be? We’ve handled spice before... or so we believed 😎). Tandoori Chicken arrived in 10 minutes — crisp, juicy, and full marks! But the main course took a grand 50 minutes. When we asked, the captain casually said, “Chef duty change ho gaya.” (We were like… oh, so the chef also took a lunch break before ours? 😂). Finally, the Kharda Mutton arrived. One bite… and boom 💥 — no mutton taste, just a volcanic blast of green chillies! It felt like the mutton was just boiled and thrown into a mixer full of mirchi. 🌋 When we complained, the captain proudly said, “Khandeshi people order it this spicy.” We honestly feel the hotel should hang a board saying — ⚠️ “Kharda Mutton – Strictly for Khandeshi Warriors Only!” 😂 So yes, food experience was half fire, half patience test — but definitely full entertainment! 🔥😄

We visited Sandeep Hotel this Sunday with high expectations, as it is a well-known and reputed place. But unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. In the Veg Manchurian (gravy), we found a bone inside one of the balls. My wife is a strict vegetarian, and this incident was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. When we trust a reputed hotel for pure veg food, such mistakes are not just careless—they hurt sentiments and raise serious questions about hygiene and kitchen practices. We hope the management takes this issue seriously, improves their food handling process, and ensures this never happens to any customer again. We shared this not to defame, but to create awareness and push for better quality control. Customers deserve safe and clean food, especially in restaurants with such a big name.

Disappointing Experience at Hotel Sandeep, Hadapsar Visited Hotel Sandeep in Hadapsar and was thoroughly disappointed with the management. We waited for over an hour before being told by the manager—who was casually making a waiting list—that the total wait time would be nearly two hours. This lack of communication is unacceptable. Had we been informed earlier, we could have made other arrangements instead of wasting our time. The staff seemed overwhelmed and completely unprepared to handle a crowd. If you're planning to visit with a group of more than four, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The management clearly lacks the capacity and foresight to accommodate larger parties efficiently.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We ordered Maswadi curry ( vegetarian dish ) and were served chicken. One server admitted it was chicken. Shockingly, the manager refused to confirm and couldn’t even tell us what it was. When we asked to speak to the chef, we were told he wouldn’t be available until 7 PM. No apology. No accountability. This is a serious violation, especially for those who avoid meat due to dietary, religious, or ethical reasons. Attaching photos as proof. Avoid this place if you care about what’s in your food.

Pathetic food. Had order Kala masala mutton handi and chicken kharda. To start with mutton handi, it never tasted like Kala masala, they need to learn how to make it, the pieces they served were hardly any mutton and 4-5 were charbi (fat) only. Chicken karda look wise was like palak paneer. Would rate them in minus.

Pathetic experience. The service here is nonexistent. The staff is unprofessional, and the manpower is clearly lacking. Everything from check-in to food service was a disaster. Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity

Day by day quality of food is getting degraded. The famous veg dish veg handi was not at all tasty. Chapati was thick and not cooked properly.
