One must visit this place. They serve the best tea, especially during the monsoon. Their " special tea " is fantastic, and it comes with a big bun and a dollop of butter. It's simply amazing!

I was a tad apprehensive about eating at The Irani Cafe because of the awful reviews about service on Zomato. I decided to give it a shot though because I really wanted to try the Mutton Kheema Berry Pulao, and the Raspberry Soda... What the Berry Pulao lacked in salt, it more than made up for in flavour. I added a dash of salt, and it was absolutely delicious. I did not have any trouble with the service, and the ambience is very bazaar street cafe, so a tad noisy. The Bun Maska was lovely too.

Food is good, but the staff have a weird attitude and they are least concerned about anything. Hygiene can be better.

The service is horrible ali g with table hygiene. Had to keep tissue on the table and put my hands and sit. Their special me u for Russian cutlets was ordered with Butter toasts and Lemon soda. Everything was served separately. First the soda at room temperature and the glad was half full. Though it taste good. The toast was buttered well but cold and soft already. So didn’t understand how did it come under toasted bread. The Russian cutlets was extremely fried which made it look slightly burnt on the edges of a round Russion cutlets and flat like a flat bread. I ate one and didn’t get any filling taste of the chicken. Got up to give a feedback to the counter and server picked my remaining food and drink from my table with out my permission. Complete chaos. I had to pay for the drink and bread toast. Inspire I only ate 1/4 of the toast. Irani cafe is losing the charm. Or the camp one surely has lost it.

Even after seeing so many bad reviews about this place, I chose to ignore them and visited this place as it's legendary. However, this was the most overhyped place that I've witnessed in Pune. Service was pathetic (as you've already read from a handful of other reviews). However, I wanted to judge the cafe only and only on the basis of food and alas, it was bad. Their legendary "mutton berry pulao" which should have mutton keema in it, didn't have any. When asked the waiter about it, he just ignored it. The least that a customer can expect from a cafe of your stature is that you at least serve what you claim, irrespective of your competency associated with preparing the particular dish. Hope this acts as a wake up call for the restaurants and they start looking after their customers.

Waiters don't care to attend. visited this place in morning and ordered chicken cutlets, cheese toast omelette, bubble gum macroon and tea. order was delivered late as hell after going to the counter twice and Asking for the order. Deserves a rating in minus for service

Really annoyed today by Irani Cafe!! Morning when I came for breakfast… I found this cockroach in my bun omelette! Pathetic hygiene 😡
