Did not expect much. But the taste of curry was superb. Was fed up with these fake dum biryani of popular outlets. Being a hyderabadi I do not compromise on dum biryani but this biryani is exceptional. Hope they maintain the taste.

I have been enjoying the Mutton Biryani at Jamawali for years now and in my opinion you folks make one of the best Mutton Biryani in Pune with amazing consistency in appearance and taste. So yesterday I was happy to order this dish once again for dinner before watching a movie. And for the first time, I found that it tasted more spicy than usual, more oily than usual and containing more « masala » than usual. So I spoke to Vinayak at the counter, gave my feedback and asked if there was a change in the recipe or the chef. He assured me that nothing had changed. Right now, I’m once again sitting with a plate of Mutton Biryani to see if my experience yesterday was an anomaly. But alas, it’s not. If this continues in the future, I may not opt for this dish as a default choice every time I come to this food court. It may still rank as one of the best Mutton Biryanis of Pune but that would be just because Pune doesn’t have enough worthy competition in this department like Hyderabad does. Let’s see.

The Haleem, the biryani & thick lassi, boy what a life! The brain child of Marriott, Jamawali biryani delivers love on all days. I've been a fan of the haleem & the aromatic biryani served here. Go try it, I promise you won't be disappointed. And hey, they do a 1+1 on Zomato Gold, that's another reason to gorge on these delicacies. #LazeezStories

One of the best veg thalis I had. Everything was delicious. Special mention for Gulab Jamun. One of the best gulab jamun I had in Pune. Biryani, paneer and laccha paratha all was good, salad was fresh. Only thing I could ask for was probably increase quantity to fit it for 2 or reduce the prize by 40-50 INR. Overall good experience :)

Since having a thali required us to wait for 20 mins, we ordered Awadhi Murg Biryani. The masala in the biryani was white and spicy and there were 3-4 pieces of meat. The portion size looked lesser in accordance to the price but was filling for one person. It was served with Raita.

Had veg thali and its awesome. Lacha paratha and biryani taste was just too good. Quality and standard was well maintained by JW. EDIT - Went for lunch during weekday and at peak hour no one was there at the counter. I waited for 10 min then left.

Absolutely horrible service, the lady at the counter lacks basic manners, on asking for take away orders she answers back and says we don’t have containers, and started cussing, you’ll need to understand better that things need to be organized before hand and have some shame while using such language at the counter. Your food is really good but alas the service spoilt everything. You’ll are a reputed brand make sure this does not have with other customers or you’ll will lose most of them

While the food at this outlet is good, they have a terrible habit of repeatedly changing the menu, which undermines customers’ reasons for visiting. Their latest change has completely removed all curry options, leaving customers with little choice but to switch to other outlets ..Jamawali Biryani—this is a wake-up call. Restaurants become popular because of consistency in both preparation and offerings, and this inconsistency has now become a major detractor for you.

This is the worst paratha which does not even look like paratha, horrible, wasnt fresh either. Very bad experience
