Today with Ganesh Visarjan, one maid was on leave and the other house help, couldn't reach, as there was no bus or auto from her place. Plus with some work going on in the kitchen, decided to order for breakfast. And on second thoughts, decided to get something for lunch too. Ordered from Jyoti Restaurant, Kondhwa. But the food became so much, that it sufficed for our 4 meals 😂. At Breakfast, we had 2 plates Idli Sambhar... 110/- and 1 plate Wada Sambhar ... 60/-. Their idlis and wadas are very big in size, so very filling. Had these along with Filter Coffee. Then at Lunchtime, had 2 plates Masala Dosa... 220/- and we were full. Had the 1 plate Upma... 65/- for our 'Sham ki Choti si Bhookh', along with Tea. For Dinner, the 1 plate Puri Bhaji... 110/- sufficed for both of us. It had 5 Puris and sufficient Aloo Bhaji, still some bhaji is left 😆. And made some Sooji Halwa also, to go along with Puri Bhaji. This full day meal with taxes and Swiggy charges, costed us 621/- 😀

I recently ordered at Jyoti Restaurant, one of the oldest establishments in Kondhwa, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Their Dal Khichdi and Cream of Tomato Soup are my go-to choices when I'm in the mood for something light yet delicious. The portions were generous and easily satisfied two people. What impressed me the most was the quality of the food – it was simply amazing. The flavors were on point, and you could tell that they take pride in their cooking. If you're in Kondhwa and looking for a satisfying veg meal that won't weigh you down, Jyoti Restaurant is a great choice.

Just calling yourself a "pure veg" restaurant does not automatically make you good or trustworthy. Today was a shocking experience—I found a cockroach in the sambhar served to me. It was disgusting and completely ruined our meal. My entire family had to stop eating and leave the table after seeing that. What’s worse is that the staff still charged us for the other items, excluding the idli sambhar. There was no genuine apology or concern for what had just happened. Cleanliness and hygiene are clearly not a priority for this place. I strongly advise others to avoid eating here until they seriously address their hygiene standards. Food safety should never be taken so lightly.

Had ordered Corn paneer fry by going to the restaurant today for Rs 220. To my surprise when I had the fry at home it turns out to be maida coated with corn chunks in it. When I called the restaurant to complain they were adamant that no it is paneer only it is not maida. They said to me it turn out you might have different taste of paneer. I was regular there for dining and gave Jyoti's food to my kid because they provide good quality food. It is my request you to never ever try food from Jyoti.

Ordered idli sambhar,Onion Uthapa and a pav bhaji. The pav bhaji was good but idli was slimy and spoilt and Uthapa was very very sour.Never ever going to.order.from them. The manager needs to be changed as he has no qualities of a manager instead his explanation is that uthapa is always served sour and he acknowledges that idli might have been spoilt bcos they normally reheat the idlis as it is made in bulk. Looks like management has changed as the quality is much below average and pathetic.

not happy with ordered dhai wada today. i see some stone particles Not expected this from Jyoti. I have call for complain but will it help no.. please prepare food with care. jyoti was known good for quality but day by day it's degrading ..

Worst service server denied to serve Food in the end.... Never go for the place..... Shit place I feel like .... Server Toufiq had been super rude while my dinning experience at the restaurant.... Never recommend this place

Had gone to eat breakfast, was eagerly waiting to eat there they have been very good in the past, But all i got was stale sambar and a very unapologetic respose from the staff and even the manager

I ordered from Jyoti through zomato today and half eaten food was delivered to me. Totally not acceptable. Tried calling the restaurant several times to report this but no one answered the phone.

Waiting from past 20 minutes for the order to arrive. Service is going bad to worse. Disappointing experience back to back.
