Biryani (5/5) The Kolkata Biryani is showcased over here with same features and other: Potato, Egg, Chicken is there and off course the same taste as of Kolkata. Taste (Mutton Biryani): Great blend of all spices and the Dum style cooking helps to infuse the flavor into it. It is light with the flavor of Mutton is infused into it and is enriched by softness of mutton and potato. Chicken Chap (5.5/5): I am not bias but in love with this dish. The flavor has empowered not only my taste buds but also minds. The flavor of continuous cooking of onion to caramelized phase and then the blend of spices takes it to next level Taste (Chicken Chap): It is great the piece of Chicken you will get and the tenderness into it as well as the taste of Chap will fulfill your taste buds. **Facts: The owner used to go Kolkata periodically to bring spices for the food and that's the dedication. ** Also Recommend to People of Pune to try this. If you're from Kolkata and living in Pune now, I can bet there is one thing you are dying for - Kolkata Biriyani. That's one dish no other can replace. And sadly, there are hardly any places in Pune that serve the perfect Kolkata Biriyani with the same taste and flavours. But I'm glad I finally found the perfect place that serves our favourite dish just the way we love it. Kaka's Kitchen - in Pashan Road. Pocket friendly place with kind and courteous staff. They serve 2 pieces of chicken/ mutton for 1 plate, 1 Egg and an Alu, and the quantity of rice is more than enough for one person. And the taste is just what I was craving for. I'm definitely visiting again very soon. We tried a chicken cutlet as well. And Chicken Chap to go with the Biriyani. The place serves Egg/Chicken Rolls as well. I am writing this review just after finishing a delicious jumbo size cutlet with 'kasundi' (kinda mustard sauce) and a egg chicken role and it reminds me my city of joy..the same taste wrapped with the warm hospitality of Ranabir da..just last Saturday I had also mutton Biriyani here. It was also freaking awesome.. the meat was so tender and juicy I thanked him so many times after that as I stopped eating mutton here due to the authenticity. Hats off to Ranabir da and Kanai.. keep rocking 💪 ✌️

Really Authentic Kolkata Style Mutton and Chicken Biriyani...moist, favour full and good portions....they also make nice Chicken Cutlets, Chicken Chaap and Rolls. Ask them to fry the chicken and add lime juice and Green Chilies in rolls for a great experience....keep it up!

The best biriyani and chicken chap combo I have ever had in pune, totally worth it guys, reminded me of Kolkata. A must try for all the food lovers, and they take care of the customers really well. A perfect balance of excellent food, service and totally value for money.

Last night i order food from here which was very good, we ordered bengali chicken biryani and chicken cutlet, both were delicious. Definitely one of the nicest bengali biryani i ever had in pune.

best value for money take away restaurant. chicken chaap, biryani, regular thali items u name it they have it. owner has very humble behaviour. enjoyed everytime eating here.

I am writing this review just right after opening the biryani box that has been delivered from Kaka's kitchen. I am so upset while looked at the biryani. chicken was so hard and rubbery seems to be older than 3 days and the test is not even up to the mark. there is no sign of authenticity. I being a Bengali I can smell the authenticity like " oh Calcutta" " hi Kolkata" "ki Hengla" and rest. so for me I will mark a review of 1 star as a street side shop.
