came here to eat after 10 or more odd years, and wow its the same damn taste! the most awesome kathi kebabs in whole pune I'd say!... was worth the 2 hour drive... i wish they opened a few more branches...

Kapila Kathi Kebab Pros a) Simple rolls with not a plethora of ingredients. But fabulous taste. Just A roll with one egg , some chicken pieces , few onion rings, green chutney bland a dash of lime juice. b) The guy making the rolls works like a machine! These guys know their stuff. c) Juicy tender chicken. d) good value for money. Cons a) You might have to wait a while to get your order. It's crazy crowded even at 9 PM in the night. Kapila is definitely a Pune Classic! Must visit atleast once.

The quality of the roll in this place hasnt changed since 15 years or more. The rolls are absolutely divine. Would be good to have a non spicy option for people that can't stand the spice in the chicken masala. The pudina chutney here is out of the world. Quick food on the go.

Had read a lot of good things about Kapila Kathi Kebabs on internet. Had a few recommendations for this place as well. It is one of the legendary outlets of Pune. Naturally, this place went onto my wishlist being very close to my work. So after a lot failed plans, I finally got a chance to visit on a weekday with a work friend. Kapila Kathi Kebabs is located in one of the bylanes of Dhole Patil Road. It is a single shop outlet with no seating. A few standing tables are present. As the name suggests this places specializes in serving Kathi Kebabs and rolls. No ambience to talk about. We ordered Chiken Kathi Kebab roll. The Chiken Kathi Kebab roll consists of chiken kebabs along with onions, egg omlette and green chutney. The chiken kebabs itself were fantastic. Soft and juicy with great spices. The roll on the other hand I found to be average. There was lack of sauces and it tasted very dry. The green chutney alone was not enough to balance the dryness. The quality is good. Acceptable quantity. The price is on the higher side for the quantity offered. Could easily be cut down by 20%. Overall an average experience for me.

Overhyped. Ordered a chicken kathi roll double filling. The quantity of chicken in the roll was good, but you expect that when you pay 150 bucks for a roll. No taste in the roll whatsoever. The base could have been a bit crunchy. The chicken was a bit undercooked and lacked spices. The lack of sauces added to the misery.

Had a horrible experience recently, and I had severe food poisoning after eating a chicken roll from them. It took me 5 days to recover. I had visited them in the afternoon....seems they served a stale chicken. Hope I had read similar reviews from others. I never dare to visit them. Just do a favor by not visiting them and try other better outlets. For me, it's a no-go restaurant. Not sure the review gonna help others or not...as this is a famous outlet at the busiest junction.

I didn't like the taste at all. there's no marination just the meaty taste that too it didn't taste good. not at all value for money kr worth the wait.

Ordered 3 Double Chicken Katti Kabab Rolls but the size and quantity felt like single only. Disappointed.

I recommend doing a favour on your stomach than eating our from here. got really bad food poisoning.
