My friends and I visit Madurai Tiffin often. It has a very polite staff, offering very affordable and delicious food. I discovered this a few months back and haven’t gotten over it since. If you are someone who loves South Indian food, it’s an amazing restaurant. The Biryani, Chicken Curry with Parotta and Idli set is my absolute go to.

A small eating joint on the Sus road serving authentic Tamilnadu style food. Visited the place after having seen the ratings on google. They have plenty of eating options on the menu including dosa items which are available throughout the day. They serve both veg and non veg. Tried half Chicken Biryani. The quality was good, however the rice did not appear to be fresh. Also there were only 2 small chicken pieces served. Tried Dal Vada which although was prepared in the morning, tasted good. The menu was fairly priced making it very economical to students. Will try all their other items next time so that the ratings could be adjusted.

We ordered idli wada. they took 30min serve. idli cold, wada tiny (3" circle) & warm. why should it take so long? manager argumentative. other tables closer to manager table were getting service. they could have recommended saluting else, but service poor. he's always away on some pretext. this is second time we visited. first we were seated closer and got good service. the wada then was also normal size.
