Maratha Samrat is a good place, with delicious food and apt service. I loved their Kaala Mutton Thali which was not over-spicy, as expected. The Surmai Fish Fry was chunky and tasty. But the Solkadi was the star of the meal, refreshing and cool. Highly recommended for family lunch.

If you are looking to have authentic maharashtrian thali this with peaceful sitting this place is for you, loved the calmness, giving such old yet modern vibe. Staffs are so are warm, food was delicious.

Considering the price, the mutton thali was not worth it. The taste was less spicy, the kheema was too dry, and the mutton pieces were not tender. The Indrayani rice didn’t feel authentic, as the original variety has a distinct aroma. On the positive side, the chapati was fresh and the dahi kanda was good. We expected better taste from Maratha Samrat but had a disappointing experience overall. However, the ambience was good.
