I’m a Maharashtrian and I love missal pav. In search of missal pav I have travelled far. Lonavala is my favourite destination for rides. I visit for a good breakfast ride and try the missal pav at the renowned joints. I have been hearing about the chicken misal Pav at Marathi Zatka from 2021. It’s been in my visit list from 2021. I could attend this place in 2021 so finally I visited it in 2022. Ambience : it has a typical marathi ambience with dive and lights. I normally reach at their opening hours (9:30 am) to ensure I get the best misal . The seating is simple but over the weekend you can experience rush. I normally book my place and visit as it can be crowded. It has indoor seating . Food ; I ordered Chicken missal pav and chass. The missal is mind blowing. It has minced chicken, tari and chicken broth. The taste is typically marathi style. The pav are very fluffy, I would suggest you get your own pavs. If you eat their pav ask them to heat it . The taste of the missal changes. I was thrilled and content with my visit . I missed to visit this place in 2021 as we had a big bike group and they couldn’t accommodate . However, 2022 we managed to go with less bikers. There was a chicken thali I wanted to try but may be next month for sure. Conclusion: if you love missal pav do visit this place. It’s homely and beautiful marathi songs will be played . Takes be back to the 90s . The chicken rassa is to die for and I could eat a bucket of it. I will visit this place for lunch or dinner. I happen to visit it only during my breakfast until then will wait for round three.

If you want to eat pure proper maharashtrian food then you should try Maratha Zatka . It has perfect ancient village type ambience from which many customers are attracted . The seating arrangement ia also very good and comfortable . We can get there veg as well as nonveg food . The Speciality of Maratha Zatka is CHICKEN MISAL . It is very unique and tasty . One should definately try chicken misal there . The staff is very polite and helpful . The service is quick . The rates are minimum . You can get much tasty food in minimum price . The food presentation , quantity and quality is superb . One should definately try it whenever you go in lonavala

It's name only indicate , its a Maharashtian food restorant . & they fulfil there name by serving aunthentic maharashtrian food. This restorant is at Tungarli road. Ambiance is very nice. Old marathi songs inhance our mood , & create marathi vibes. They have Comfortable sitting arrangement.They serve veg & nonveg food too. We ordered mutton thali. In this thali they served mutton sukha, stew & mutton rassa, With hot jawar bhakri. We also ordered chiken misal. Its very unique dish & very tasty. Heighly recommended. Must visit place .

Step in the hills of Lonavla and in the inner circle of Tungarli Road you find this hidden gem. This joint is famous for their authentic Maharastra food and one of the unique dish- Chicken Missal. We had this after seeing the review in YouTube. This was the best Missal I had. We ordered Mutton Thali along with Missal and they served 3 types of Mutton- Sukkha, Stew and Curry. All dish was amazing. Parking is on the Road so we went today (Monday)so did not have any issue with parking.

The ambience was good located at very good location. Service is good. Ordered chicken misal and Lima beans vegetables.Chicken misal was good but the best was Lima beans vegetable and bhakri.
