Our experience at Markaiz Lonavla was nothing short of spectacular. Every single dish we ordered was prepared to absolute perfection—truly finger-licking good and easily some of the best food we’ve had. A massive shoutout to Anagha, who was incredibly polite and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She graciously accommodated all our requests, including a wonderful birthday surprise for my wife that made the afternoon truly special. Cheers to the entire team for the impeccable service and hospitality!

we are regular eaters at markaiz and everytime we come here the food, the drinks, the service and the ambience never fail to please us. The service is absolutely awesome. The most important thing that this team has is eye contact. Unfortunately due to the ongoing gas issue their menu was limited but whatever was on there was absolutely fantastic. Thank you team markaiz especially kaushal singh for making us comfortable.

We went to Markais …family of 12 to celebrate our grand-mom/ mother who lived till 112 years and taught us the meaning of life and importance of relationships. We were a varied age group, 23-92 years and we all enjoyed the food especially the veg Dhanshak. The khari pattate was unique. A special mention for the service we received. The staff was courteous and very helpful. We would love to visit again….

Excellent food, great ambiance and superlative service. don't miss chicken cutlet and cinnamon roll. Kaushalya was a great server and ensured the food was at the table within reasonable wait times. very polite and kept the table tidy at all times.

we had been here for lunch, the ambience is lovely and the food was okay but the desserts here are to die for! The most disappointing experience is the service - the waitstaff is very very inattentive, at a time we had 2 different people come and take the same order and still they managed to bring us the wrong food which was a bit absurd. When we were placing order for drinks their attitude was a bit patronizing. The server who ultimately took our dessert order was lovely and very receptive. But the whole experience unfortunately felt a bit odd especially considering the prices charged.

Mutton dhansak was bland without flavour ; brown rice was dry ; should not serve if an authentic recipe cannot be made

I took a pit stop here yesterday and tried hot chocolate it was good but today when I went here again and the portion of Hot chocolate serving was low. When confronted they started saying it's the same portion we serve every time which I thought was baseless the portion served was half the tea spoon of quantity. They straight away denied everything and the quantity was less.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, period. The so-called manager Pradip seems to believe that because this place labels itself a “prestigious property”, customers are beneath questioning the food, pricing, or basic hospitality. Newsflash: prestige is earned, not self-declared. I ordered a Double Cheese Sandwich priced at ₹250. What arrived was a joke—two absurdly thick slices of bread slapped with mayonnaise and butter. No cheese worth the name. No balance. No quality. Just carbs and attitude. When I raised a concern, instead of accountability or even basic courtesy, the manager had the audacity to say that “this is how the management serves it” and that I shouldn’t have ordered it if I didn’t like it. That’s not confidence—that’s arrogance mixed with incompetence. If this is what they call “prestigious,” I’d hate to see ordinary. Rude staff, zero customer respect, overpriced nonsense food, and a manager who talks down to guests as if they’re doing us a favor by existing. This place doesn’t deserve repeat customers—it deserves a reality check. Save your money, save your time, and most importantly, save your self-respect. Never visiting again.

⭐ 1 Star – All Attitude, Zero Substance This place survives purely on its self-proclaimed “prestige,” not on food or hospitality. The staff—especially the manager—seems to believe that customers should blindly accept whatever is served because “management policy”. That excuse is used to cover up mediocrity, not maintain standards. A basic Double Cheese Sandwich here is nothing more than thick bread drowned in mayonnaise and butter, sold at an unjustifiable price. There’s no quality, no effort, and certainly no value for money. Calling this a premium offering is insulting. What’s worse than the food is the behavior. Instead of acknowledging feedback, the response is condescending—as if customers are at fault for expecting something edible and fairly priced. That’s not professionalism; that’s misplaced ego. A truly prestigious property is defined by how it treats its guests, not by how loudly it repeats the word “prestige.” This place fails miserably on that front. Plenty of better options around with better food, better manners, and actual respect for customers. This one can be skipped without regret.

We were a group of 17 at Markaiz on Saturday night . We were seated after a wait of 30 mins and were told to place entire order by 1015 as restaurant wanted to close the order. First, an item was served despite not being ordered. Server insisted that it was ordered and would be added in the bill. One of the guests had ordered for a Veg Burger. This was never served. When confronted, server had audacity to say kitchen is closed and this particular guest went literally hungry from the dinner. Not a single person from management or Chef’s team had the basic decency to come and even apologize. Restaurant experience is not just about food but also service
