Ordered 4 items as mentioned below: 1. Ginger Tea - people who love high amount of ginger in their tea will love the tea. 5/5 2. Swiss Roll - roll was a bit dry for my liking, though great value for money considering the cost. 4/5 3. Bombay Grill Sandwich - probably the best Bombay sandwich I have had in Pune. Extremely fulfilling. 4. Veg Berry Pulao - Tasted a bit like regular pulao with berries on top. Loved the taste of it though. 4.5/5

The place as a nice, cosy and comfortable ambience. Unlike other Irani based cafes which have very mild tastes, this one serves nice spicy food along with the authenticity of the flavour. The liberal use of eggs will defenitely satisfy a hard core eggy. Mughlai eggs, egg kejriwal and chicken kheema were awesome!! The Mava cake which smelled great was served warm!! Definitely a go to place for me!!👌👌

Maskawala and Co. is one the restaurants that has opened during this wave of Irani Cafes that has taken over this city. With multiple Irani Cafes opening all over the city, Maskawala also entered the game to test their luck. Maskawala and Co. Is located in Kothrud near Karishma Society in one of the bylanes. Roadside two wheeler and four wheeler parking available. It is a small outlet with indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is average. Maskawala specializes in serving a wide range of Iranian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cusines and beverages along with desserts. I visited this place on a saturday morning with a friend for tea. The place was crowded and we got one of the last few empty tables. We ordered Lemon Tea, Coffee and Coconut cake. The Coffee and Lemon Tea were great. But it was their coconut cake which was really memorable. It was just beatiful. Perfect. A must try. The staff is polite. The service is average. Good quality and quantity. Reasonable prices. A really great place to spend time with your friends and family.

The owner really needs to look into the operations of this restaurant. The main issue is the poorly trained staff, which seems to be driving many of the negative reviews. I ordered a caramel custard, and it was served cold, straight from an open fridge, with no caramel sauce on it. The staff member didn’t even know how the dish was supposed to be presented and looked confused when I asked about the sauce. Also, chutney sandwich had no butter. It tasted so dry even with the cheese. Jam roll is basic. Basically white bread rolled with Kisan jam. There was also no power backup, so we were told that samosas and cutlets couldn’t be served because the oven wasn’t working. That’s not acceptable, why not serve freshly made items instead of relying only on reheating? Also, why is there no generator in place? Basic menu items like grilled sandwiches and toast were unavailable due to the power issue. Meanwhile, many customers were just having bun maska and chai and staying for hours. If that’s the kind of business model you’re okay with, then fine but you’re definitely losing out on more serious orders. Please work on training your staff. They were mostly standing around, chatting and laughing among themselves, with no sense of urgency or professionalism. Consider hiring a manager or at least supervising the place more closely.

Clumsy staff, exceptionally pathetic food and drinks (especially fresh lime soda and cold coffee) unhygienic place, overhyped, utter disaster!
