Food is delicious and full of flavor. the portion size is quite less — it honestly doesn’t feel sufficient even for one person. Considering the price, the quantity could definitely be a bit more generous. That said, everything else was great — especially the Rogan Josh, Wazwan Rista and their varieties in bread .

We were a group of 11 and we ordered a lot of food. Naturally it took a while but the wait was totally worth it. Loved all the mutton dishes and for a hardcore non vegetarian like me I even loved the veg thali. Our server Gulshan despite being busy served us well. Mr. Rane we will definitely visit again.

Tried Kashmiri food from Matamaal for the first time and it was a really nice experience. The spices and flavours are quite different from what we usually eat, but in a good way. Definitely something everyone should try at least once!

Review is for a delivery order. Mixed review, leaning towards disappointment. Chicken dhaniwal was satisfactory, dum aloo tasted authentic but had a thick layer of oil, mutton marchwangan was clearly stale (if not spoilt) and very rubbery and chewy...am convinced it was a reheated 2 days old gravy. tabakmaz looked good but by this time I was approaching it with a lot of caution and cannot tell if (at least) this dish was freshly made (using fresh meat). It ain't a waazwaan if you cannot keep up the quality of mutton dishes. Unlikely to order again.

With all due respect to the owner and efforts that he is taking, this place is overhyped. We went there only based on an instagram reel and the ratings here on District. I understand they are serving a different cuisine, but it it is not worth the price. Taste is okay.
