The music is too loud. Murphies has a separate dining room and it is assumed that people who don’t want to sit outside ( it’s smoking area) will have some quiet when you visit. It surprises me that places like this donot have a separate control system where the 2 places can have different volumes. Why do restaurants have to be so noisy? I have not even tried the food yet and I am posting this negative review , based purely on the noisy ambience.

My experience at Murphies was absolutely terrible, primarily because of the extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour of a staff member named Lalieya. I had called the restaurant before visiting, yet nobody informed me that outdoor seating was not allowed. After arriving, we were given different reasons for not being permitted to sit outside. Since we wanted to smoke, having to repeatedly go outside and come back in was highly inconvenient. If outdoor seating was not an option, this should have been clearly communicated when I called instead of wasting our time. What made the situation even worse was Lalieya’s attitude. When we asked why we were not allowed to sit outside, she said there were “many reasons” but refused to explain them. When we asked her to clarify, she bluntly said that she did not have the time to attend to us and explain it. This is an absolutely unacceptable way to speak to paying customers. If a restaurant has rules, that is understandable, but basic courtesy, clear communication, and respectful customer service should be the bare minimum. A staff member refusing to explain a policy because she supposedly does not have time for customers reflects extremely poor service. I strongly urge the management of Murphies to investigate this incident and address Lalieya’s conduct appropriately. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or dismissed for asking a reasonable question about the restaurant’s policies. I would not want to go back after such an unpleasant experience. The management seriously needs to look into its customer service standards and ensure that customers are treated with respect. Absolutely disappointing. The way we were treated ruined the entire experience. Think twice before visiting if you expect professional and courteous service.

Very disappointing experience with the mocktail serving quantity. The drink was served with approximately 90% ice cubes and only 10% actual juice. When we requested the staff to reduce the amount of ice, they served less than half a glass of the drink. We then requested the manager to look into the issue, but unfortunately, his attitude was rude and unhelpful. Instead of addressing the concern, he simply stated that without ice, the quantity would be less than half a glass. Customers should receive a fair quantity of the actual beverage, not a glass predominantly filled with ice. The quality of service and the manager's attitude were both disappointing. Definitely not the experience we expected.
