we visited neelraj on 19.05.25 as we were searching for misal in around aundh-baner. Since it was a Monday, Katakirr was closed, and we happened to find this place. surprisingly, the misal was very tasty and flavorful. the tarri had nice spice power in it. and pavs were buttered nicely. enjoyed the meal and would surely visit again.

This is my favourite go to place for misal in entire pune. The taste is very unique and traditional. The misal is made of dew bean (मोठ, मटकी). The quality and quantity is best. Must try.

I guess it's a blend of 5 types of #KhadaMasala. Not sure but. Anyway, very easy to locate on Aundh Baner DP Road, ample parking space, a spacious and open sitout with 4-5 table on the outside and an enclosed sitout on the inside. They serve a variety of #Misal along with other maharashtrian breakfast dishes like #WadaPav #SabudanaKhichadi #Sheera #Bhaji etc. etc. But the signature dish is #Misal. Today I opted for a #ShevMisal This varient is a good option to the regular #FarsanMisal #Matki served on a bed of #Shev topped with chopped onions and garnished with coriander. #Tarri is served in a separate bowl with 2 cucumber slices and lemon. Pour that piping hot tarri on the Shev and give it a nice mix. And you are ready to dig in 😍😍😍 Have a morsel and your taste buds will ask for more. Fantastically spiced, not very sweet but not fiery either. A perfect balance of spices so that one can enjoy his portion to the fullest. Delicious it is. Very delicious. I love such type of Misal where unnecessary use of red chilli powder is avoided just to add fire. It makes no sence. Anyway, next time I shall try some other type on their menu. A place worth a visit. Do try it guys. And as I always say #SatisfactionGuaranteed

One of the best Misals in Pune - We were looking for the spiciest misal in nearby area on weekend brunch and fortunately we ended up here. Neelraj Misal is located in Baner in a small area, ambience not being so lavish, just like any other misal outlet, it is just a tin roofed has indoor sitting arrangements with normal tables and chairs. But ambience can be overlooked after having their delicious misal. We placed an order for a regular misal pav and a mataki misal pav. A regular misal consists of a small portion of mataki, farsan, sev, chopped onions and coriander with slices of cucumber and lemon. They serve a small bowl of rassa and 2 pieces of butter pav. Mataki misal pav had a more quantity of mataki. Neelraj misal serves a gravy (rassa) made with the perfect blend of 5 types of spices (panchkhada masala), which adds ultimate flavors. Butter pav are the one of the best parts as they serve them warm. If you want misal more spicy you can ask for a tikhat cut (spicy gravy), they will serve you as complimentary. I'd say that Neelraj misal is one of the best misals I ever had and deserves a try. We also had a tea, which was one of the best tea Pune. Service is very quick and the staff was polite.

One of the best places for Misal in Pune. I have been following them right from the days they were in pashan at Meghraj Misal. Originally they started as Meghraj Misal on Pashan Sus Road, in Pashan Gaothan. Then now because bigger space they are shifted to bigger place at baner aundh road near tatyacha dhaba. We Ordered Misal Thali and another normal Misal. Misal thali comes with misal farsan, tarri, Cucumber, lemon , sweet , papad, curd and toasted pav. Their farsan is very fresh. We really like theirs Misal hence are regular visitor. Tried this missal and it was excellent. The taste is authentic. Had Matki missal this time. There are more varieties. Will go again and try other variety. But if you want a real authentic kolhapuri missal, this is the place one can go.

Be careful while taking parcel home. They are cheating with quantity. I ordered 3 quantity, got only two. Check your parcel before leaving. Bad experience.

Being from Nasik no pune misal can beat the authentic taste of nasik chi misal. but this one is quite close to the taste.

The owner has no manners how to talk to a customer. Even after successful UPI Payment did not give the order. Instead, started abusive language and asking to pay double payment. Avoid ordering from such rude people.
