A very no-nonsense eatery near Narayan Peth with polite staff and great food. ⭐️ The (unlimited) tambda rassa and alni rassa keeps bringing us back to this place for more. Do visit but please keep in mind that it tends to get extremely crowded during meal times. We have waited for a seat for 50 minutes on a Sunday at dinnertime. Needless to say, the wait was worth it.

I had this Kolhapuri Chicken Thali at Shaukeen Milan Khanawal near Sujata Mastani, Sadashiv Peth, Pune. This thali consists of tempting authentic tambada, pandhara and alani rassa. Taste of all rassa was mouth watering, best part is that rassa was unlimited. This place is one of the best option to fulfill your craving.

Visiting this place since last 4 years and their taste is still same. I'm big fan of their tambda rassa. Must visit for Non-Veg Lovers.

My dear friend introduced me to this authentic and tradational place for local style Mahatashtrian dishes, especially the non vegetarian ones. I was a bit skeptical because I knew that it is going to be so spicy, that it'll probably burn my tastebuds, but I complied anyway, as the curious foodie in me wanted to do something 'toofani'! Its located in the peth area, and a small place with less than 7 tables probably. Its non-A/c so I was again in for a ride. We ordered a BUTTER CHICKEN HANDI, in the hopes that it will be less spicy. Turns out, it was less spicy than other preparations, but still a bit too much for my palate. I would give them a perfect score for presentation, which was something unexpected. They nicely decorated the handi with grated boiled egg and cilantro, topped with a spoonful of butter. Then, the show stoppers were the little bowls that spicy 'tari', and the tradational 'rassa'. It felt so original and authentic to the regional culinary core. The taste was not bad either. Ofcourse it wasn't how actual North Indian styled Butter Chicken is supposed to be, but with a Maharashtrian twist, which was likeable. Yes it was spicy, no it wasn't creamy, but I enjoyed it a lot.  The size of the handi was HUGE! I think it would easily fill up 3 people, but the two of us were famished, literally skipping the lunch to savour this treat. The price is very inexpensive and it gives you an excellent value for money.  If its some tradational food you are looking for, feel free to check out NEW MILAN and enjoy their culinary preparations. Happy Burping!!!

I ordered Mutton Fry thali cost 290/- Mutton pieces was not at all sufficient as per cost, was only 4 pieces and it was with big bone so as such there was not meat (mutton) portion... Pandhra and Aalani rassa totally tasteless... Tambda rassa was good

My experience to this was pathetic. Went by looking zomato reviews. Order mutton thali and surmai fry. Surmai fry was very spicy and mutton thali was normal. Taste was good. But its very unhygienic. There is one curtain there, the cook washed his face and wiped it with that dirty curtain itself in front of us. I had a stomach infection after eating there. My recommendation to others is visit this place only if your stomach is strong to digest unhygienic tasty food

Only 4 paneer pieces in chicken masala. That’s how it tasted and taste was quite disappointing too. DO NOT TRY veg at this place.
