I have been here for so many times and love to food here. Specially their upvas items. Today I want to order upas food from sweet home but the Zomato is not accepting it for delivery although it’s just 6km away 😠

One of the oldest hotel in Pune. Used to eat idli sambar when I was in school. Sambar is their specialty. It's not South Indian but really very tasty and spicy with lot of coriander, tomatoes and oil in it. Idli sambar with shev is recommended. Upwaas items are equally good. Centrally located, parking is a big problem. Use Rickshaw, cab or public transport to visit this place.

We ordered Sabudana khichadi, Idli Sambar and taak. The khichadi was served with coconut chutney and tasted good. We didn't like the idli sambar much though. The sambar was watery, oily and salty. Nowhere near the taste of sambar. It was served with coconut pudina chutney. It wasn't worth the money. The taak we ordered was great. It was chilled and tasty!

Very poor quality idli sambar. I use to visit this place during my childhood n was very fond of idli sambhar n sabudana khichdi here. I visited this place after so many years everything thing has changed . The quality of food is very low. Idli sambhar was pathetic .. quality of sambhar very very poor , it was more like water. No taste at all. N add on to this was price, which was way too high compared to the quality offered. We had ordered tea as well but that too was tasteless.. waste of money. Would recommend not to waste your time n money here. They don't value customers too.. overall a very bad experience. They don't even deserve that one rating.

I had a horrible experience today at this hotel when I had gone there to have a milkshake. I paid the bill and I was sitting outside and waiting for someone. I was told to go away and the staff behaved with me very rudely. There was no rush at all, and I was quietly sitting on a outside chair. This is such a pathetic treatment given to me by the staff. I would like to contact the owner and raise the complain. I have been visiting that place for more than 25 years but they are going from bad to worse. Does anyone know the owner details?

Misal was extremely salty, pav was stale and breaking apart, the pav was not authentic in the first place. The service is extremely bad as well, especially the lady at the dispensing counter. Not worth visiting at all, it is not a good representation of Pune's food.

Very bad service, very rude staff , I ordered 8 Wada paavs and I asked for extra chillies with them , not only did they not give me extra chillies but did not even give me one chilli per Wada paav

I have no clue how this restaurant has survived so many decades.. typical puneri arrogance,dull service,over priced and use and throw dish, bowls and self service. Indeed an overrated restaurant.

Everything is pathetic except the coffee Sambhar is way too oily and tasteless. Idli is so so. On top of that is the attitude which comes complementary.
