If you’re around Kothrud definitely check out Pimlico. It’s a nice spot to catch up especially if you’re into cocktails. We tried a bunch of things, but really loved the sushi and pizzas. The dal khichdi was also really good. For cocktails, definitely try the Nuts Over You. Overall a solid place for a chill evening.

Late-evening hunger led me to Pimlico, a delightful surprise from a Zomato search! 😋 Ordered the Cheese Garlic Bread and Alfredo Pasta – both were a hit! The bread was cheesy, garlicky perfection, and the pasta? Creamy, cooked just right, and exactly how I love it. Great quantity, great quality, and a real treat for the taste buds. Definitely ordering again, would recommend for a cozy food fix

The ambience was absent as it was too dark and the lights on the table didn't cover the entire table. There are some renovations going on but the new theme isn't great at night. Food wasn't filling and the price was expensive.

The service was a bit slow and Japanese cuisine (sushi/dimsum) was barely average. Could be better. Good mocktails though.

Apparently, walk-ins are treated like a crime here. Walked in for dinner without a reservation. Totally understand if the restaurant was fully booked — that’s not the problem. The problem was the ridiculous attitude. The PR/host basically told us, “We can’t give you a table today. Come tomorrow.” Not a polite explanation, not an alternative, not even basic hospitality. Just pure attitude. For a moment, I genuinely wondered if we had walked into a restaurant or a private club where we needed to prove our worth before being allowed to sit down. 😂 The way we were treated made it feel like we were begging them for a table, rather than trying to spend our own money at their establishment. Here’s a revolutionary concept: If you’re full, just say you’re full. No need to make customers feel unwanted. No need for the superiority complex. And definitely no need for the “come tomorrow” attitude — we’ll happily take our money somewhere that actually appreciates customers. The irony is that restaurants spend thousands on interiors, branding and marketing, only for one person at the entrance to make the entire experience feel like “please leave, you’re not important enough.” Congratulations — you didn’t just lose one dinner reservation. You lost a customer before we even got to try the food. And yes, we’ll come tomorrow… Just not to your restaurant.

The attitude was definitely not worth the price tag. Walked in for dinner without a reservation, and I completely understand if the restaurant was fully booked. What I don’t understand is the attitude. The PR/host’s response was incredibly rude — instead of simply explaining that there were no tables available, the attitude was basically, “We can’t give you a table today. Come tomorrow.” Honestly, the way we were spoken to made us feel like we were begging for a table, rather than being potential customers. If you’re fully booked, just say it politely. A simple “Sorry, we’re fully booked tonight” would have been enough. There’s absolutely no need to make guests feel unwelcome or inferior. Good restaurants are remembered for their food, but great restaurants are remembered for how they treat people. Unfortunately, our first impression here was all attitude and zero hospitality. We came looking for dinner and left with a lesson: apparently, customer service here comes with a reservation too. 😏 Needless to say, “come tomorrow” won’t be happening.

We took monchow soup and it was giving the old oil smell. They changed the soup and noodles but the the taste was not up to the mark, it was bland and the proportion of sauces was not proper. It was sour in taste. Barbecue wings were nice but they didn’t have any mouth freshner as well. I guess so they are not yet settled here in Erandwane, renovation work is going on.
