Poona guest house is a well known place for it's food quality and homely dishes, recently they have started their second outlet in pavillion mall's food court. . Quick maharashtrian snacks like kothimbir wadi, thalipeeth, misal pav, vada pav, and pav bhaji are served. . I tried the few dishes which are listed below: 1)Thalipeeth: This was soft and mild thalipeeth, served with masala dahi and plain dahi, the Thalipeeth came really good with masala dahi and best part was that the thalipeeth was served with a spoonful of ghee which kept it moist. 2)Cheese vada pav: This was huge wav stuffed with huge aloo vada and grated cheese, the vada pav was flavourful with soft and mildly tosses potatoes and the cheese gave it a new turn. 3)Pav bhaji: This was nicely grinded bhaji served with buttery pav, the bhaji had a slight hint of lemon, the pav bhaji was topped with butter and the flavours of spices and butter were balanced. 4)Mango modak: This was streamed modak coated with yellow colour and was stuffed with grated coconut which was drenched with ghee and had a hint of mango.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Top five reasons to visit this place: 1)The place is pocket friendly you don't have to spend a huge amount to enjoy food. 2)The place serves good quantity of food which fills your stomach. 3)The place uses simple spices which will not lead to any stomach disorder. 4)The place serves everything fresh and hot. 5)The place makes you feel like having a homely simple food in mall.

#PGHEXPRESS best spot for all authentic Maharashtrian snacks and thali on SB road @pavillionpune ✌ 🔘To beat the heat while roaming in the mall or on SB road one must try the fresh Watermelon juice here. 🔘 Masala Paav @pghexpress is so buttery and delicious with unique test which was better than any other Masala Paav, for sure! 🔘Misal, The Puneri Misal was fantastic. It was a perfect combination of Farsan, Pohe ,Potato and Matki. You can also have a glass of buttermilk alongside! 🔘Tawa pulav with raita and lot of salad here is best option for if you're craving for a heavier lunch. 🔘Sabudana vada was served Delicious chutney prepared using peanuts and dahi gave a perfect taste. The overall experience at #PGHEXPRESS was best and the ambience in food court of Pavilion mall is also jolly in order to enjoy your meals. 💯❤ #highlyrecommended

One of the legendary restaurant in pune It's a very simple and quite place at center of Lakshmi road. Food options are limited but very tasty... You can have simple yet delicious food here... Majorly they serve Thalis and few side dishes like thalipeeth, masala bhaat, dahi wada etc which are good in taste. Overall a budget friendly place to have homely food

Poona Guest House has started their express food venture at Pavillion Mall with their traditional dishes like Thalipeeth, Ukdiche Modak and so much more! Really loved the Pav Bhaji and Cheese Vadapav which had a perfect balance of spiciness! 😋

We ordered amul pav bhaji...it is good in taste...butter added in sufficient quantity.. service is quick.. bread were rosted properly..only thing the bhaji is somewhat watery...it should have thick

The thalippeeth was decent but not comparable to the taste of the dish from the original Poona guest house. The shrikand was not good at all and was the biggest disappointment. Service is good and serving portions are also good. But if you are looking for the original taste, please do visit their restaurant in Laxmi road

Taste of pav bhaji not good it was watery and too much salt once we told the guy the answer was that is your first complaint and he changed but still bhaji had lots of salt ...he just added water into it..and then bhaji was too much watery... Pls change the cook or hire a cook who can make proper pav bhaji

किमतीच्या मानाने थाळी अति सामान्य होती. एक दोन पदार्थ बरे होते, बाकी अक्षरशः मेस सारखी चव. काय लोक गर्दी करतात कळत नाही. घोर निराशा झाली आमची. पूर्वी चांगले असेल कदाचित, आता मात्र किंमत आणि मालकांचा तोरा सोडून विशेष असे काहीच नाही.

A pav bhaji plate of two small pavs a watery masala masquerading as bhaji with a small spoon of butter for rs 170 had me go back home and eat something from the fridge Never again here when there are much better places to choose from at the Pavillion Mall

I ordered Cheese Vada Pav and it has stale cheese. Manager said sorry and returned my money back, what a waste of time. I wonder why a restaurant like this cannot have fresh cheese.
