#saffronmasa#wakad#foodtasting ह्या विकएंड ला वाकड मधील सॅफ्रॉन मासा ह्या फाइन डाइन सी फूड स्पेशल रेस्टॉरंटला गेलो होतो. अगदी बोटावर मोजण्या एवढीच सी फूड स्पेशल रेस्टॉरंट आहेत जिथे झ्याकपाक अंबिइन्स आणि 'बसण्याची' भारी सोय आहे. ह्यात सॅफ्रॉन मासा नक्कीच टॉप च्या 3 मध्ये आहे. एन्ट्री केल्या केल्या दिसते ते फ्रेश सी-फूड काउंटर. सुरमई, पापलेट, लॉबस्टर, जंबो प्रॉन्स , बोंबील अगदी शार्क देखील. लहानग्यांना टोमॅटो सूप घेतलं होतं, आवडीने ते त्यांनी पिले. चिकन खाणाऱ्या साठी चिकन मलई आणि चिकन लासुनी कबाब असे कमी तिखट कबाब आणि पोरांना लॉलीपॉप घेतलं. मलई चे मॅरीनेट मस्त असल्याने त्यांनी ते लगेच फस्त केले.आमचा निशाणा सी फुड वर असल्याने चिकन कडे दुर्लक्ष केले. फक्त स्टार्टर बरोबर आलेली कच्या आंब्याची चटणी खाल्ली, एकदम युनिक चव. मी नुसती तीच खाल्ली. सी फूड ची सुरवात झाली ती पापलेट फ्राय ने, मस्त फ्रेश पापलेट सॉफ्ट आणि चिविष्ट लागत होतं, सेम प्रकार सुरमई फ्राय बाबत. रवा फ्राय जास्त आवडत नसल्याने मुद्दाम तवा फ्राय घेतलं होतं. ह्या नंतर खाल्ले ते मंगलोरियन प्रॉन्स मसाला फ्राय , क्या बात, टिपीकल मसाला आणि तीच चव, छा गये गुरू. थोडा मसाला मुद्दाम शेवटाला खाण्यासाठी ठेवला. ह्या नंतर आले ते म्हणजे बोंबील फ्राय, ह्या साठी एकाच शब्द 'लाजवाब', अगदी कमी तेल पिलेले आणि अक्षरशः तोंडात टाकले की विरघळून जाणारे. आलेली प्लेट अगदी शुन्य मिनीटात गायब. स्टार्टर चा शेवट झाला तो स्पेशल क्रॅब मसाला फ्राय. ह्याचा मसाला देखील मस्तच. खेकडा देखील एकदम फ्रेश आणि त्याचा आकार देखील चांगला मोठा होता. खेकडा खाण्यासाठी पक्कड आणि बाकी सामग्री दिली होती पण आपल्याला त्यानं काय जमत नाही, आपले दात हायेत की अजून. खेकडा दाताने फोडून खायला काय वेगळीच मजा आहे. मेन कोर्स ला बटर चिकन, सुरमई फिश करी, कोंबडी वडे आणि निर डोसा होतं. बटर चिकन एकदम क्रिमी , निर डोस्या बरोबर फिश करी मस्तच लागत होती. एवढा ताव मारल्यावर पाचक सोलकडी हवीच, मिरची, लसूण ह्याचा झनका देणारी सोलकडी एक नंबरच होती. खास बात म्हणजे इथली टापटीप, सर्व्ह करणाऱ्यांनी ग्लोव्हज घातले होते, वेळोवेळी प्लेट्स क्लीअर होत होत्या, आमच्याच नाही तर आसपास च्या टेबल वर पण अशीच सर्व्हिस होती. हॉटेल चे मालक स्वतः शेफ आहेत, ते देखील जातीने आलेल्या ग्राहकांची चौकशी करत होते आणि काही कमी जास्त आहे काय हे देखील पाहत होते. एकंदरीत पोट आणि आत्मा तृप्त. Outhouse Saffron Masa The search For Excellent seafood with fine ambience and an amazing Bar serving excellent Cocktails ends here I was recently invited here and i fell in love with this place.. In my opinion good sea food is served in simple thali type restaurant's or in Goa 😏 this belief was torn off as the evening progressed. Firstly the vibrant ambience and live fish counter takes attention.. Everything from lobster, Surmay, pomfret to slightly less popular fishes like Mandeli, shark fish are kept on display.. Coming to the food we were group of मसाहारी, चिकनहारी and शाकाहारी लोक्स.. But the menu is vast here right from deep tandoored kebabs to Palak Paneer everything avalible under one roof. Started off with chicken Malai kebabs, lasuni kebabs and lollipop for kid's nice deep tandoored delicious kebabs but we were waiting for our fish as kid's were kept busy and quiet with the food 😅 The show stoppers were the excellent Fish Starters अस्सल कोंकणी पद्धतीने बनवलेले Bombil fry melted in mouth fine coating on fresh fish delicately fried to perfection Crab Masala juicy tender crab meat aptly spiced masala it was delight to eat it. Manglorian Prawns slightly spicy went well with my सोनेरी पाणी In Mains The Chicken makhni (Butter chicken) surprised me it's not sweet version but properly made creamy buttery mildly spiced chicken consisting juicy boneless tandoori chicken. I'll just revisit for this one dish soon. Fish curry on other hand made in traditional Kokani way. These were accompanied by kombdi wade and neer dosa and i liked eating it rather then usual Naan or Roti. The owner is Proffisnal chef and Handel's Kitchen himself hence the quality is maintained to the point. Overall this is the best place in vicinity for classic seafood with superb ambience.

Outhouse saffronmasa ! I resently visited this place Outhouse saffronmasa at wakad ! The place is amezing and lovely 😍 . the ambience was great and classic, there was display raw fish 🐟 which was too good. We go with non veg only ! Taste was outstanding marvelous . From start to end. well we ordered , Starters! tawa prawns , Bombil rava fry Main course ! we goes with fish curry, chicken lapeta , tandoori rotis. Rice we ordered ! steamed butter rice , which was cooked properly. Desserts! angoori gulab jamun We enjoyed our lunch there, courteous staff . super se bhi upar fast service. Rating for this place 5/5 Ambience:- 5/5 Service :- 5/5 Value for money:- 5/5 💯

I visited this place recently with my Father. We were greeted by the resto owner who himself is chef, he is very humble person, Great Service, Complementary options, loved Surmai tandoor, music, superb ambience, a must visit and finally found a great sea foodplace in Wakad.

This place serves amazing seafood. We had ordered crab and prawns which tasted amazing. The service and ambience is pretty good as well. The place is worth visiting for seafood lovers!

Murg kasturi kebab was delicious. Deepika's service was polite and friendly. Complimentary wine and gulab jamun was a win! 😍
