The taste is lip smacking and exactly the one you get from the main branch at laxmi/kumthekar road. The quantity of thali is excellent and you the taste is of that proper kala masala chicken and you get a leg piece with every thali. Rassa is hit inconsistent at times being thick and spicy to hit watery and less tasty but you can always instruct and get it how you want, Thanks for bringing your outlet to Baner.

I'm visiting a famous non-vegetarian restaurant recently named Sainath Khanaval. The restaurant is incredibly crowded, but the taste is definitely worth the wait. I waited for almost one and a half hours for a table, and I would highly recommend it, especially for non-vegetarian lovers. You should go and experience the authentic Maharashtrian flavors.

The Baner branch is always quite crowded and can have a waiting time depending on the day and time you visit. Ample parking space though. Don't expect ambiance as it is a basic restaurant but clean. Good for families, & friends. Food is lip smacking. I've tried the chicken masala thali which consists of chicken kala masala which always includes one leg pc, rassa in a small bucket, chapati or bhakari and indrayani rice topped with a spoon of ghee. Taste is good and chicken is cooked to perfection. Spicy and flavourful rassa. They also have bottled solkadi which you can order separately. The service is often slow as servers are often not attentive roaming around aimlessly and you're left waiting for onion/lemon/chapati/bhakri/rice while your food turns cold. I wish they could have added atleast an alni or a solkadi vati to their thali. The VFM food draws you there but the service just puts you off most of the times.

Mutton Thali Review: A Rollercoaster Ride The mutton masala thali, Mutton fry masala Absolute heaven—cooked in fresh coconut, tender, and delicious. Then came the rassa - so spicy, it torched my taste buds into oblivion. Seriously, only try it if you enjoy setting your mouth on fire. Thankfully, the rice-was there to save the day—perfectly cooked and a much-needed relief.

There is no option of minus stars. All reviews are managed. Bogus taste and management. All items are tasteless, uncocked, spicy and oily. Please avoid to visit this place.

Very slow service as compared other branches. Unhygienic and staff behaviour is not up to the mark. I would recommend you to visit other branches than this one
