Sainath Khanawal is the best place to have Maharastrian Thaali. Till now in my short stay in Pune counting to a few months, no other place served such delicious mutton than this. I haven't had such tender and juicy mutton pieces ever. I had been to Jagadamba, another place suggested by a local guy for Maharashtrian Thaali but Sainath leaves it behind by a mile. We tried the Chicken Masala and Mutton Masala thali and both were equally good. The Rassa they serve are different for both thalis. The place is easy to find as it is situated at a Chowk. Please give it a visit if u want to try Maharashtrian Thaali. Oh, we went to this place on Gudi Parva. :)

We literally go there every week. One of best Budget place for Non veg Thali in area. The taste is So Desi that makes you visit the place again and again. They have different Gravy for mutton and chicken. And Bhakries are the best and the Pandhara rassa is what i love most.In the evening Hotel opens at 7:30 and you have to wait at least 1-1:30 hr at peak time However its worth to wait...!!!

Had amazing chicken fry thali after some time. One of the better non veg serving restaurants in Sadashiv Peth. If you prefer a little spicy food compared to Aware khanawal then this your place just a few meters away from Aware. Owner is very friendly and takes care of every customer. Highly recommended for all non veg lovers 🙂

Sainath Khanaval is one of the best Chicken Thalis in Pune. The taste of the Chicken is very delicious. The way they cook the Chicken is so tender. Definitely pocket freindly and very decent amount is served. One thali can almost serve two people. And the price is very less to what they serve. This place is always crowded so you can expect 10 minutes waiting. The place should have been little bigger. Rest all is best.

One of the super delicious and spicy chicken and mutton thali in Pune. Located near Alka Talkies and always fullfils my desire to eat chicken.. and also their Toop Vaati is an emotion for all chicken lovers. On the other side they should decrease their level of spicyness... Loved the taste 😋

I have visited this place for lunch and luckily there was not so waiting rush compared to everyday. I have ordered Chicken Masala Thali, Taste was good and quality of bhakri was also good. I did not liked the chicken, chapati/roti and rice. Chicken was so chewy felt like eating rubber. Chapati / Roti was so thin and maybe because of that the chapati was getting hard so easily and instantly. In Rice there was some whitish liquidish something seen maybe it was boiled rice water added in normal rice to get sticky indrayani rice feel. Overall not that good compared to the hype.

I had a really disturbing experience ordering a chicken thali from Zomato today. While I was eating, I literally found a fly (makhi) in the chicken rasa. This is not just disgusting, it’s a serious health concern. I don’t understand how such negligence is even possible. Are basic hygiene standards not followed at all? People trust restaurants with their health and pay for safe, clean food not something that can make them sick. This kind of carelessness is unacceptable. Earning money is fine, but not at the cost of someone’s health. Please take responsibility and maintain proper cleanliness in your kitchen. I strongly urge others to think twice before ordering from here. No one deserves to go through something like this.

Their guy insisted on having Mutton Masala Thali instead of Fry Thali as it will take some time to prepare... It was so spicy none of us five guys liked it. You should be able to taste some food instead of the spiciness. Service is good but don't bother wasting your money or time here...
