This review was long due. I have gone to Shahji multiple times in the past and every time the experience was terrific. I can surely say that almost everything in their menu lives up to the expectation they build. Everything - starting from shahi dahi bhalla, special/flavoured lassi, moong dal halwa, rabdi jalebi, to parantha thalis, chur-chur naan thalis, and veg pulao - tastes delicious. I particularly go there to taste their rabdi jalebis - warm, soft, and syrupy, sprinkled with loads of dry fruits and rabdi on the side. A must try if you visit. All in all, a very good place for family outings to indulge in authentic North Indian vegetarian food.

chole bhature is avg, chole was overcooked, qty is not sufficient for 2 bhtures, instead try it from Shangri-la amazing chole bhature.. the cost wise also it's at 50% rate. lota chaas is 241 rs for 3 glass of chaas, you will get 4 liter chaas outside.. it's highly overrated and overpriced hotel. food quality taste is avg, ambience is normal, dish quantity is not sufficient for the price.

service was very poor. all orders arrived late. Pizza was kept at table and no one served. Also, food quality degraded over time.

I am writing this review after visiting at least 15 times to this restaurant. Still giving the worst rating, someone might think why I am visiting again and again if I do not like it. Let me come to the incident that happened today when my wife and I visited the restaurant around at 2:30pm. Occupied a table after entering. The waiters welcomed us with a very smiling face as they always do, and I really liked it. The problem occurred when we ordered a paratha thali and three rotis along with it. The waiter said, "No sir, I cannot take this order. Reason is we do not allow roti with any thali". Yes, you read it correctly. We were surprised and asked the reason. They did not give any logical reason behind it. They just denied serving roti along with the thali. They were so rude to their customers (us), and I never believed such the worst hospitality behind their smiling faces. They said they won't allow any food sharing of the thali. Simplyfying - if I ordered a thali, my wife could not eat anything from that thali!! After that, I said that my wife would take the thali and I shall take the roti with water. They should not have any objection here. Still, they denied with a rude attitude. I still did not understand these are different entities on the menu - thali and roti, so why such hooliganism?? Why cannot we order them both? They really cannot comment on our food behavior and cannot deny serving us meals just because we ordered ad-hoc roti along with the thali. SHAME ON YOU!!! SUCH AN INHUMAN BEHAVIOR BEHIND YOUR LEBEL OF HOSPITALITY WHEN WE CAME TO YOUR PLACE AT THE LUNCH TIME AND YOU REFUSED. We finally left the restaurant with an empty stomach and decided not to visit the same restaurant again. I already lodged the complaint in some places. Not disclosing here for the interest of investigation. Goodbye.

very expensive compared to the quality of food. all chat items taste the same. even parathas taste similar. in terms of service, waiters are not attentive. They start making arrangements for new customers even before you are done on the table or paid the bill. This experience was very pathetic as if the restaurant was forcing customers to leave. it's a waste of money going to this restaurant.

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. on 26 Mar 2026 I Booked dining table for 8 family members for 10:30PM and due to Wagholi traffic we reached the restaurant at the round 10:40PM but they have directly declined our booking stating we are not surving food post 10:30PM which is very strange.
