This is the Story of a hidden gem called Sudama Bar and Restaurant. Started in the early 90s this Restaurant was the heartthrob of many locals and their favourite watering hole since they had an active bar. They are more popular for their Maharashtrian cuisine but their Mangalorean and konkan cuisine is equally delectable. They have a jolly good and very jovial General Manager- Ashwin Rai who hails from Manglore. Nowadays, the place has a thriving business, you get all sorts of drinks, tower beers, draught and also a variety of cocktails and mocktails. They have added an exclusive family dining air conditioned area fully dedicated for hosting get together of family and friends. Coming to the food part- I love their seafood- for instance try the crunchy bombil rawa fry which I find much more tastier than Mahesh Lunch Home or their prawns koliwadas. I also recommend Baby Surmai baked in Tandoor- looks so heavenly and tastes awesome and those of you who love Mangalorean food try their prawns ghee roast and the Surmai gassi- you can thank me later! These two dishes alone can give Mahesh lunch home a run for their money. Staff is lovely, fast and manners are pleasing. You can also try their Maharashtrian dishes like black masala mutton which is very delicious and also a variety of kebabs. Don't miss it for the world!!

One of our friends got us to this place called Sudama Bar and Restaurant- which had a house full Bar; we headed up to the family area- a place done well! They seem to be much known  for their Maharashtrian cuisine but their Mangalorean and konkan cuisine is equally worth the try. Got nostalgic with the bowl of boiled peanuts and crackers that were there as welcome starters,,,you already got my heart!!! cocktails and mocktails - enjoyed! The generous plate of bombil rawa fry which was a star and must try. Loved the  tandoor Surmai, prawns koliwada, kabas and prawns ghee roast- which took the food experience to another level- Thanks Chef! Staff  good and also had a chance to meet the friendly and very welcoming GM- Ashwin Rai, pleasure:) Must visit!

The place is a very open one with loads of seating options. Tried this tangdi kabab and it was worth a try. Didn't disappoint me on my first try. The place boasts of a not so much cool ambience but is good for friends and guys who want to have drinks and food. The price is reasonable and the service is fast too.

Good place to hand out with your friends with light on pocket. Food is nice, service is good and Central location. We ordered different dishes and we mostly liked all of them. If I would like to recommend one then, I would recommend chicken sukka, which I loved it This place is not for ambience lover. Surely recommend if you are with friends for those ambience doesn't matter. Food and service is good !! VFM - 5/5 Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambience - 2/4

Good place for drinks with friends Tried chicken sukka, chicken handi, cheese butter garlic naan, tandoori lollipop, chicken chilli, jeera rice and kingfisher pitcher. food was good, tasty cutlery service was disappointing no parking, valet also denied parking

A very good bar in Pune for boys only group to hangout. Food is very good. Table service is really awesome. We usually hangout here once in a month.

Mango Mule a mocktail consisted of Plain Mangola and lots of ice cubes and plain water. Mango Mule content as per Sudama Hotel was Mango juice, Ginger Ale, cucumber n ice cubes. Bhoolkar bi mat jana

Highly not recommended. Too much slow service. Very very rude staff. You guys lost one regular customer. We talk with owner about this service. But i have to say this that the owner is also rude. Owner said we are giving this service you decide whether you want to come sudama or not. So my friend from today onwards me and my 4 groups are boycotting sudama forever. And i request you to all not to visit this restaurant and owner should learn a lesson from this situation. We came here for just dinner but i guess owner is thinking he is greater than Customer. We all should boycott sudama for such behavior of owner and his staff. Thank you for such a nice hospitality. And thanks to owner to for such a rude hospitality. our waiting time for 1 roti was almost 50mins

Worst staff here. They don't have seating capacity for large group. And the staff here says that "You are standing here and disturbing me". Also, the seats and couch are very ill maintained. Avoid this place at all cost. Shame on you management for treating your customer this way and onboarding such rufe staffs.
