Awesome and yummy food... Chicken rassa, Bhakri & fish was just too good... Have eat & ordered mutlilple times at our office and friends get together... We all njoyed. Worth the order.

Veg Punjabi and Maharashtrian jevan khup Chan Hote. Tandul , Jowar Bhakri, Sol Kadi was also yummy. Have visited multiple times with family and friends. Recommend to visit.

Surmai(डेक्कन) and surmay(near नाळ स्टॉप) हे दोन वेगळे हिटेल्स आहेत। थोडं confusion आहे. पहिला सुरमय हे डेक्कन ला होते पण आता ते नाळ स्टॉप जवळ आले आहे।। पण जुन्या जागी नवीन नावच हॉटेल सुरू झालाय ते आहे सुरमई।। थाळी बेस्ट आहे इथली विथ good quantity इथे तुम्हाला त्या दिवसाची कोणती पण special डिश FOC (free ऑफ cost) दिली होती आम्हाला. Best place for fresh sea food thali. Owner gives us options of available sea food like prawns, crab,surmai, promfret etc to choose from. Quantity is more than enough. Gravy was tasty but Wheat Roti needs some improvement. It was reheated, oily and hard to eat. Rest of the things were good.

Fish was fresh, solkadi was tasty and especially liked sukat chatni. Quantity served was very good. Very fulfilling.

Went to Surmai thinking it is "Surmay" the old place I used to eat. The same has changed, different taste, different service and finally came to know different owner. Not worth the monies you pay. Malvan taste is completely gone. It's just fry of any seafood you want, which is available in any low budget restaurant. Did some digging and found real "Surmay" has moved to Karve Road near Nal Stop. Will plan to visit them. Alas service is pathetic as well.. New owner - you need to work hard as well..

Beware.. this is not the original one which used to Serve here.. they have shifted to Karve Road... the name sounds similar but they have Added ‘i’ and now its Surmayi... and no the original one SURMAY
