If you're a meat lover, Survej Pure Non-Veg Restaurant hits the spot! The Keema Thali and Aalni Wati were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for those craving flavorful non-vegetarian dishes!. follow me on Instagram solo_traveller_shabana

food is really good. portion sizes are correct. only service needs to be improved. waiters are either busy or dont know what is in stock or what is out of stock in the kitchen

The experience at the restaurant was disappointing. While the mutton and egg thalis had an okay taste, they were excessively oily. The Dahi Kanda had a strange taste, possibly due to low-quality curd. The onions were stale and appeared to have been reused, which was concerning. Additionally, the lack of proper air conditioning, despite it being on, made the dining experience uncomfortable. Furthermore, the Solkadhi I ordered was half-filled, not even worth the price. Overall, the food and service did not meet expectations.

I think they do serve and mix some pieces of bolhai mutton in regular mutton. Bolhai mutton is more rubbery in texture than regular goat mutton. Quality of pieces is subpar. I had ordered and visisted multiple other restaurants in Pune but this one stands at lowest ladder in rating and quality of food. Prices are exorbitant. I would not recommend to visit this if you are in Baner.

We ordered chicken thali. It was very spicy. My daughter couldn’t finish her meal due to spicy food. Ambience and service were good.

This restaurant is a classic example of a place losing its identity. Known for its focus at authentic Maharashtrian non-vegetarian food—particularly well-prepared, high-quality mutton with local flavours—it now seems to be drifting towards a more commercialized, North Indian-style flavour profile. The kheema was overwhelmed by a generic onion-tomato gravy, lacking the depth and character or a local kala or kolhapuri masala (I don't know what cuisine they lean towards) The mutton itself was far from fresh, with a texture that suggested as if it was cooked in a pressure cooker and tasted as if it had been kept overnight. The only acceptable part of the meal was the bhakri and the rassa, though even the alani rassa carried an unpleasant aftertaste, most likely from the same stale meat. My disappointment is not just from a poor meal or a ruined Sunday lunch, but from witnessing a respectable establishment losing its culinary essence. I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback to heart and makes a sincere effort to return to their roots and work towards a holistic improvement.

Went here after hearing a lot of good reviews... First of all service... Very poor service... The Staff members are engrossed into themselves and don't even check whats going on on table....very ignorant and careless....Staff doesn't even know what is the menu and how the food item is like... If u ever ask them for any recommended dish... they give very bad options and you regret it when the food comes on your table... Secondly half the menu wasn't available.... We got Chicken Fry as per the staff recommendation.... it was the worst dish i had ever... Big piece of boiled tasteless chicken was dipped in egg and fried which tastes very eggy and didn't had any spice nor even salt. Later ordered for Rava fry Bombil... it was so smelly that we couldn't even eat.... 350 for 6 finger sized piece that too smelly.... didn't even justify the cost..... Mutton kheema fry and Chicken Kharda was good... Alani Bhat also was too salty.... Very bad experience.... Would never recommend to any one...
