The chicken thalis hold their own just as well, especially the alni chicken, which brings a comforting, lighter contrast to the otherwise robust flavours. Paired with the soulful simplicity of alni mutton and the fragrant Indrayani bhaat, it all comes together beautifully, almost like a perfectly composed meal where each element enhances the other. A small but significant highlight has to be the chapatis and bhakris, unbelievably soft, fresh, and the kind that effortlessly soak up every bit of rassa and gravy on the plate. Yesterday, a trip to the other end of town, resulted in having lunch, at one of our favourite places... Surve's Pure Non Veg. In the last few years, have had meals at their various outlets. And we have a few favourites. But yesterday, gave our favourites a miss, and decided to try something, which was very intriguing and everytime, in the past when we had a meal there, I used to wonder how it would be... So tried... Chicken Jatra Yatra Handi ( half )... 905/-. Got to understand, that it consists of chicken kheema, chicken pieces, chicken soup and chicken masala. When it arrived, we were surprised to see such a huge handi, confirmed it was half only. 😊. Infact, it was so much that had to get the leftovers packed. Had Chapati... 47.62. It was huge... As big as the huge thali. First I thought, that they had given 2. So we had only one each. But wanted to try Indrayani Rice... Ordered for a plate... 50/- ( But half each time ). It came with pure ghee over it. And a glass of Solkadhi...40/-. Total Bill... 1213/- (with taxes), for the 3 of us. And we were full to the brim. ❤️ As lovely and filling meal.

I always go to a different restaurant to try authentic Maharashtrian food. One day I got to know about Surve’s and decided to give it a try. What a delightful experience! Excellent food just too delicious. I had ordered special mutton thali and it was out of this world. Besides all that the staff is extremely polite and hospitable.

a brilliant lunch affair. very helpful and attentive staff who know their dishes . do not miss their mutton and chicken thalis . special mention the the staff to go the extra mile to cater to a vegetarian eater in our group. highly recommended.

Great food, good non veg and egg options. We tried the special mutton Thali and egg Thali. Advice: bhakri size is too big order one only also alternatively you can share one thali between two people and order extra stuff as required. Mutton stock soup in the thali was very flavourful

I went to surve for the second time. the first time when I went there it was a takeaway order which basically made me.go there in person but the in place dining experience was not that great. Chicken kharda was not properly cooked masala's were pretty much not cooked. Mutton sukka was so dry that I felt like it was not mutton but rubber. Mutton keema was very mild in salt and that made my experience not so memorable. Maybe the other branches are decent but I didn't like my experience at viman nagar branch.

I'm sorry to say this to food but its hopeless, I entered the restaurant at 10 on my arrival they said mutton isn't available everything in chicken is after we sat they say chicken thali is there and no special thali available we still agreed after the food came everything was ice cold and the manager has the guts to say you should come early at 7.30 you have come late all I can give hot is raasa are you serious and the food has no taste very bad taste such a pathetic experience never seen such a bad food and service ever before. I wish could give them 0 stars they don't deserve that 1 start either...( PLEASE NEVER VISIT VIMANNAGAR BRANCH ATLEAST)
