Seafood lovers, this one’s a straight-up win. Chimbori is easily one of the best seafood spots I’ve tried in Baner. The clams and prawns in kala masala completely stole the show—so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Bombil Fry was crispy, fresh, and absolutely unreal. The Surmai Malvani Curry was rich, comforting, and full of authentic coastal flavors. Huge shoutout to Gauri & Aniket for creating such a wonderful place. You can genuinely see the care they put into the food and the overall experience. The ambience is warm and welcoming, the service is super quick, and the quality and hygiene are top-notch. If you’re a seafood fan, this place deserves a spot on your list. Safe to say I’ll be back very soon!

Excellent mouth watering sea food just like made in my home. Highly recommended. However the spice level will not suit everyone

Food is great. The food gets a little cold by the time the servers deliver it on your table. Good fresh sea food.

For a dedicated seafood specialty restaurant, the overall experience was very average. Availability: Bombil was out of stock. Standard-sized prawns and crabs listed on the menu were unavailable, leaving only the high-priced, large sizes as an option. Food Prep & Taste: Prawns were served unpeeled, making them messy to eat and leaving the meat bland since spices couldn't seep in. The Surmai Malvani gravy lacked authentic Malvani depth—the taste was quite mediocre compared to other seafood joints in town. Service Delays: We ordered two butter rotis mid-meal, but after an excessively long wait, we had to cancel it. While the staff service was polite enough, the food execution, inventory shortages, and delays fell far short of expectations.

The food was okay. I had surmai malwani curry with amboli. The highlight was shimple masala which was medium spicy. Service was below average

Quantity and quality needs to be improved. Fish size is very small as compared to the rates they are charging. And most of the dishes are not available.
