The place overall is really good. There are multiple activities for both adults and kids, which makes it a great family-friendly destination. The ambience and setup are enjoyable, and we genuinely liked spending time there. However, our experience at the restaurant completely spoiled the visit. We were there for dinner and intentionally arrived an hour early to enjoy the activities. We were accompanied by our 1.5-year-old toddler and our dog. Before coming, I specifically called Kinara to confirm whether the place is pet-friendly, and I was clearly told that it is. At the restaurant, we were initially given an outdoor table because of the dog. I politely requested an indoor table since we had a small child and there were a lot of mosquitoes outside. The staff accommodated us indoors, and we placed our order assuming everything was fine. Unfortunately, a restaurant manager then approached us and spoke very rudely, stating that if we had a dog, we must sit outside. I explained calmly that we also had a toddler who was uncomfortable outdoors, but his attitude was dismissive and unpleasant. He continued to force us to move out, leaving us with no choice but to leave the restaurant altogether. This was extremely disappointing, especially after being told the place is pet-friendly and after already being seated and ordering. If there are specific rules, they should be communicated clearly and respectfully beforehand—not handled in such an insensitive manner. Great place, poor restaurant management experience. I hope the team works on staff behavior and clarity around pet policies, because it truly affects the overall experience.

If negative ratings were an option, this place would get them. Hands down the worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time, and I genuinely debated whether it was worth writing this, but people need to know. We ordered dal khichdi and found a hair in it halfway through eating. When we told the manager, he just picked it out, wrapped it in a tissue, and offered to get us a new plate. Like that was supposed to make it okay. We'd already lost our appetite and couldn't even look at the rest of the food on the table. At billing, we asked them to take the dal khichdi off the bill. The manager accused us of planting the hair ourselves just to write a bad review. His exact words were "Lagta hai aap sirf bad review dene aaye ho". No apology, nothing. It turned into a full argument because of how aggressively rude he was about the whole thing. Our mistake was not photographing the hair as proof, because clearly that's what it takes to be believed at this place. This wasn't even the first time. On a previous visit, we found a hair in the roti too. So clearly this is a pattern, not a one-off. Hygiene is just not a priority here. There's no accountability, no basic courtesy, just defensiveness and arrogance from the people running the place. If you're thinking of going here, genuinely reconsider. I'd rather go hungry.

If you’re in Lonavala to relax, this is NOT the place you want to stop by. We walked in because of a tempting offer board: Buy 2 items, get 1 free. Turns out, “free” actually means ₹50 off. When we asked the manager to clarify, he didn’t just dodge the question, he lashed out. Rude, dismissive, and disturbingly misogynistic in his tone and behavior. I don’t use that word lightly, but the way he spoke made it very clear that respect is not part of the service here. Tried to escalate to the senior manager - his exact words: “If I start listening to every customer complaint, we’ll go into losses.” Right. Because treating people decently is apparently a threat to their business model. This place didn’t just serve bad service. It ruined our mood and our Lonavala experience. To anyone reading this: there are far better places to eat and be treated like a human being. They also made us wait for 1 hour just to get a table - and then treated us with their sh*t behavior. Don’t go here. You deserve better.

Dear Management Team, I would like to bring to your notice a billing discrepancy in my recent order. The menu price for Chicken Triple Schezwan Fried Rice is mentioned as ₹540, however I have been billed ₹700 for the same item. I request you to please check and clarify the reason for this difference, or arrange for a correction if this was charged incorrectly. Looking forward to your response and resolution at the earliest. Thank you for your assistance. Regards, Nikita Choithani

Pathetic Food (it contained dead insects) and More Pathetic Service (improper and unhealthy food served) Malvin their manager was arguing even after complaining about the food and service, the chef kailash singh had no explanation for the contaminated food. We recommend not to go for your own health and safety.

Horrible place. This place was equally bad when we visited last time around 5 years back, and wanted to try it again expecting that it might have improved. Food is tasteless and service is very very bad. Must avoid! Stay hungry
