Had read a few negative reviews, on Zomato, about this place. Over the years ive learnt to trust word of mouth rather than strangers who pen with zero knowledge about a particular cuisine. Vishnuvardhan serves Konkani Brahmin thalis. I have yet to have a veg thali better than this one in Pune. The food was excellent. Those dahi wadas, khandvi, batata wadas, oh and that amazing puran poli.. i can go on and on. Also, let me not forget that moreish, squeezed aam ras (not the blended nonsense) was soul-satisfying. Yes, a few dishes have a hint of sweetness but then, that's their cuisine. One needs to comprehend the cuisine before penning on a social platform to pull down the restaurant. The servers are kind, patient and ever eager to feed you, but what was most heartening was that the entire family strolls the dining room, and the outside seating, connecting to every table making everyone feel ever so welcome. What a wonderful gesture from them to do that! Based on food, service, and cleanliness i give this one a perfect 5 on 5. They deserve no less. In fact, they deserve more. So looking forward to returning here.

best place for pure maharashtrian good, from varan bhat, masale bhat to kothimbir vadi, birdya all was exceptionally good special mention for fansachi bhaji, solkadhi it was veryyyy good. it's the best quality and ample quantity. a must visit for every maharashtrulian

Without doubt, this place serves the best Maharashtrian thali in Pune. Food has a Brahmin home cooked food influence. The amras they serve in the season is to die for!

The food served was pathetic. It was excessively SWEET, everything was sweet literally. I guess the water was tasting okay, because there wasn’t any sugar added there. It was so sweet that 2 out of the 3 of us faced sugar rush in our body, felt dizziness and would have definitely collapsed if we hadn’t puked the food out of your system. Within 1 hour after eating the sweet food, we had to vomit. Sadly paid 1700 for getting sick. Please do not visit, please.

Very useless people and service,no basic etiquette of answering a phone call,and they dont have the basic courtesy to answer a basic phone call,it was our fav thali place,but coz of this shit pf them not accomodating us is stupid,we have been calling since mrng to inform them about dabba cancellation but not a single person is ready to answer the call,STUPIDITY MAX,THEOW YOUR PHONES AWAY!

Horrible service. Don't answer calls. Before coming we tried calling the restaurant multiple times if there was waiting. No call was answered. We travelled all the way from Baner reading the reviews. When we reached the place we were told there is 1 hour waiting. just horrible experience
