Visited Way Down South for breakfast on a Sunday morning, a very family friendly place. We got a table immediately. The food was good. Below are the items that we tried. 1. Benne dosa - 4.5/5 2. Mysore masala dosa - 3.5/5 3. Jini dosa - 3.5/5, it is basically what some would call noodles dosa or veg spring roll on dosa format. It does not fit under a description of our regular dosas 4. Sabudana Khichdi - 5/5 5. Filter coffee - 4/5

We ordered the Masala Dosa and Rawa Masala Dosa.One key element was missing — ghee. The dosas lacked the rich aroma and flavor that ghee typically adds. Ghee not only enhances the taste but also brings authenticity to South Indian dishes, which was unfortunately missing here.

The watery sambhar and the watery flavourless coconut chutney isn’t what I recalled Way Down South to be . The quality is not the same anymore .

No fresh food being served here , the taste is so mediocre , the restaurant is not clean and hygienic. Kindly improve to serve better .

We visited for Sunday breakfast and ordered the Idli platter and Masala Dosa. While the service was slow due to being understaffed—which we were willing to overlook—the experience turned south when we found a hair in the idli. It took 10 minutes for a manager to even acknowledge us, and when they did, their attitude was dismissive. They offered a replacement as if it were a favor rather than a basic standard. I chose to pay the full bill and leave because the lack of accountability and rude demeanor were unacceptable. Very poor experience.

ambience simple and calm though it feels cramp d up as too many tables service the services are pathetic no water offered had to myself ask for menue no one came to attend had to call waiter multiple times to attend food ordered for appam taste was average not at all fresh better go to up South restaurant which is just neqrby

one off the worst experience I had ,the server take the order ,order didn't came after 30 also uttappa ,asked the server why it is late, reply usko bolo,at last I had to leave the place, order didn't came ,no one lsi asked sir wait, will get the order ,worst place I had ever been to ,over ll bad experience,

Pathetic, have been waiting since 25-30 mins for a masala dosa. They waiter doesn't seem to care about the fact that we are waiting for our breakfast. If i had option of 0 star i would have submitted. Suggesting you not to visit this outlet. Pathetic, disgusting.
