We idliwale has been on our blind corner for a while. Finally visited it this sunday. We thought food would be very spicy but were delighted that it was tasty and tolerable level. We ordered the pork pepper fry.. an absolute stellar dish. must try. The haleem and kheema samosas were also excellent. Didnt want to stop eating. For the mains we did a prawn gassi and a chicken kundapur with appams and parotha. Both again very well made curries. we missed the coffee opera cake but could try the coconut pannacota with a plum compote. The pannacota consistency can be improved to make it firmer but tastewise it was very good. Finished with a cold filter coffee with coconut foam. and a regular hot one. You cant go wrong with this so full marks for both. We ordered a tamarind and a raw mango based cocktail. Very nice. The staff was very helpful and attended to our requests with the open kitchen.. Had a nice chat with the owner Abhishek too. Will definitely revisit often.

We kicked off our meal with the Grill Prawns and Barroom Fried Chicken and both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked and packed with flavour, while the prawns were fresh and grilled beautifully. For the mains, we went with the highly recommended Kundapur Chicken Curry with Neer Dosse and the Sri Lankan Prawn Curry with Appam and they completely lived up to the hype. Rich, comforting and bursting with authentic South Indian flavours, both dishes were simply lip-smacking. To go along with the meal, we tried the Moonshine Mango Chilli Mead, which was refreshing with just the right balance of sweetness and spice. We wrapped things up with the NC Filter Coffee Opera (a pastry desert), and it turned out to be the perfect ending. It wasn't overly sweet, had lovely coffee notes and was one of those desserts you'll remember long after the meal.

Tried Idli Chicken and Free desert Coconut Panna Cotta & Plum Jam. I had to but 3 more idli to finish the chicken gravy. Awesome Food !!

Food was good. Highlight was Mr.Suryakant Kamble who was waiting at our table. made us taste some good stuffs. very polite and very humble person. perfect hospitality person. All the best to him and the restaurant who has such good talent.

The neer dosa we tried was not fresh, they had clearly reheated/steamed an earlier batch. We had the prawn ghee roast and barroom chicken both were quite good. The fried pork belly was mostly fat, not great.

Okayish food, Don’t order the Mutton Ghee roast I got only bones no meaty pieces. The beer was not cold.
