We were looking for some place close by, which offered proper Gujarati meal. That's when a good Samaritan recommend this place, and insisted us visiting it so strongly that he accompanied us to the rickshaw which got us here. Judging by the name itself, I figured it's not a restaurant but more of a mess which serves unlimited home cooked food at affordable rates.  The thali is priced at 80 rs, for which you get an unlimited amount of:  - 4 sabjis viz gavar batata, masala batata, rajma and my personal favourite, Sev tameta - crunchy and warm fryums (or what we like to call, 'bhungra') - hot, paper thin rotli, right from the tawa, with some ghee spread over - yummy dal - plain rice - Chaas (what we mumbaikar like to call as Kutchi beer :P) - lip-smacking lemon pickle This meal is enough to make you remenicence about the good old simple days and your mom's home-cooked food.  I have zero complains about the food. It was warm, it was fresh. The service was also very quick. You didn't have to wait for food to turn up, it's always at your table. And they keep warming it up occasionally. The chapati are served as per need, and rest all is self service.  I also like the cleanliness. Generally these self-service, mess sort of eateries are not serviced properly, i.e the tables aren't cleaned as often as they need to be. But not here. Everything from the food, the service, prices is perfect! You wouldn't mind eating 2 meals a day, for 7 days a week in here!  I'd highly recommend this dining hall for some simple, yet sublime home made Gujarati meals!  Happy Burping!!!

Super delicious food. Amazing quality. If you want to satisfy your belly and don't want to compromise on taste, this is the perfect destination. As pure as ghar ka khana
