The Grand Thaker - it lives upto its name of being a grand 'thali' place, by Rajkot standards. They serve just one meal - Thalis! And damn good onces at that. Afternoon lunches are for Gujarati thalis, priced at 310 bucks including taxes, evenings are for Punjabi meals. The Thali consisted of 4 sabjis, 2 sweets, 3 farsan, puri, roti, dal, kadhi and rice. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any khichdi. And yes, creamy yummy buttermilk too. Ofcourse it's unlimited! Out of the 4 sabjis, I liked the Oondhiyu the most. Other 3 were barely average. Their sweets were really good, and I had the yummiest Poran Poli ever! Little bites with the crunchiest outer layer, ladden with ghee! It was too good! So was the Pudla and Ghooghra and Dhokla Idli too! Dal and Kadhi were decent enough. Overall, it certainly earns the must visit tag in Rajkot for its premium quality, uniqueness in town and value-for-money pricing! Happy Burping!!!

Needs better servicing although food is good. four or five different people serve and don't know what we ordered. Even billing mistake, charged extra food...needs careful supervision Menu is good and food is tasty! Service shud improve hopefully...

I ordered chefs special sizzlers, but I received too much low quantity, and there is no paneer pieces, it's like simple sizzlers not chefs special, as I ordered in past many times, chefs special sizzlers I got mutch quantity with backed paneer. But I ordered in zomato parcel, I am very disappointed, with quantity and items,

Double check ordered items at a time of delivery. I ordered additional puran puri and it got missing from order. and its not first time this happened! The do care less when packing order specially for launch. Also they packed food bottom up caused leaking of Oil.
