I was looking for a fondant icing cake and found Velvet Patisseries on Zomato. Generally fondant icing cakes are great to look at but don't taste that good because of the sugary outer layer of fondant. However, Velvet patisserie ensured the right proportions of fondant and cream icing so that the cake taste was not affected due to icing. The red velvet cake on the inside was as tasty as was the pretty icing on the outside. Also delivery at the doorstep was ensured. Happy to see such a professional bakery in Ranchi! Great going people!

Ordered espresso coffee cake and another time, a Casata cake, both the times it was awesome... The cake tasted velvety smooth and taste is beyond amazing... It was lip smacking, scrumptious, heavenly to say the least... the cake has left me mesmerised and impressed... they delivered the product within 12 hours of ordering... they have earned a good reputation and a happy customer..Cheers to that!! Keep it up !!! ❤🌼🌟

The quality of cake was premium quality, soft sponge. I had ordered German truffle chocolate cake 5 pound. It was a double layered cake and it looked so beautiful. I had also ordered this through call.

i ordered the veg puff sold there but insted i got paneer puff n it tasts yum n it was so soft n crisy the pastries sold there is also yum..

I am huge fan of red velvet jar specially of velvet patisseries vecoz i like their quality and taste creamy texture .....yum but can improve quality for chocolate Chip brownie

Rich moist dense with good quality chocolate ganache n sponge! What else to ask for on a busy valentine day ! It came with a free cupcake 🧁 Must go !!

Not that great cakes in taste and quality. Looking at the ratings I expected them to be serving something better than what other bakery shops providing. But I was highly disappointed after I received my order. I personally asked the owner for some really minor customizations, which to my surprise and disappointed he did not cater, though he promised me on the call that he would customise the cake per my instructions. Both the red velvet and butter scotch cakes were too sweet and all cream with no bread. I had to get additional items from another shop to decorate the cake and make it look pleasant and a cake worth spending that much of money. Even my friends from another city were of the opinion like..'this is what you get here with this investment..?' All on all I would not highly recommend this place.

The restaurant staff is very rude. It's a very common practice now-a-days. Most restaurant thinks that just a good chef can help them become Domino's or McDonald. But what they forget is customer service. The restaurant staff just denied separate packaging for one pastry which was meant to be given to a friend of mine. The said, either we will put all pastries in one or we will not serve you. Never going to visit here again. The owners should seriously think about training the staff.
