I visited here as a recommendation from a colleague for tasting biriyani. We had ordered Mutton Seekh Kebab and Chicken biriyani.While seekh kebab was bit bitter and rubbery in taste , the biriyani was better than most of the restaurants visited in Srinagar with 2 large pieces of chicken and an egg . Most amazing was the blueberry chocolate in their bakery !

I loved this place- 1. Service was awesome and waiters were very honest in the recommendations both in terms of quantity and taste. 2. We tried tabak maas, yakhni and walnut icecream All of these items were 5 out of 5 . The aroma of the food, the perfect balance of flavour along with superb service made this a memorable meal for me.

great ambience, tasty food, Wazwan was very good. we had ordered 2 plate of wazwan and food portion is more than enough for 1 person. you have option to choose your non veg and veg options. rice in wazwan is unlimited but other dishes are served once. overall great experience

Fabulous food! Great taste & truly authentic! We had Biryani, Rista, Nadroo Yakhni, Methi Maaz & Firni with Tandoori Rotis and a wonderful Pyaaz Chutney.

Ahdoo's restaurant which is one of the most popular places in Srinagar to have a Wazwan platter. They have a cosy seating arrangement along with a soothing ambiance. We had their Trami platter (Non- shareable) to taste some authentic Wazwan dishes. Platter Price: 1250/- + GST. (Unlimited steamed Rice , Tabak Maaz, Methi Maaz, Seekh Kebab, 3 non veg items of your choice, 2 veg items of your choice 1 piece each) The "trami" is a large copper plate that serves as the centerpiece of a Wazwan feast. This platter consis of- 1) Tabak Maaz : Here the rib portions of mutton are shallow fried in ghee after steamed. The crunchy outside and tender texture of inside along with subtle flavor make it very very special. ( Recommended) 1) Seekh Kebab: It is made with minced meat tender - a medium spiced delectable starter. The smoky flavour along with aromatic spices of this juicy Seekh Kebab is the USP . (Recommended) 3) Methi maaz: It is basically mutton intestines & stomach flavored with a spice mixture containing dried fenugreek (methi) leaves. The dish was very flavourful & well spiced. (Recommended) 4) Rishta: Lamb meatballs were cooked in a thin, flavorful , non spicy red gravy. (Recommended) 5) Gustaba: Meatballs were cooked in a creamy, tangy, almost soupy, yoghurt gravy. I personally didn't like it. 6) Mutton RoganJosh: The most popular Wazan item which is slowly cooked in a rich tomato sauce that's flavored with dry-roasted spices. The meat was a bit chewy but the gravy tasted good. 7) Kashmiri Tamatar Paneer: Paneer pieces simmered in tomato based gravy flavoured with spices and fennel seeds. 8) Nadru Yakhni: It is the most popular Kashmiri vegetarian dish. Nadru is Lotus stem and it was cooked in yogurt based shorba. Location: Residency Road, Regal Chowk, Munshi Bagh, Srinagar.

Went to Ahdoo’s because of the hype and the great reviews. Must have been our luck probably. But the order was mixed up and we didn’t get the right items. The taste was not that great too. The mutton was hard and not well cooked.

Extremely disappointing experience – poor service, packed food, and rude staff I went for a takeaway and ordered methi maz, only to be shocked when they served a packed, tinned version of the dish. The smell and taste made it obvious that it wasn’t freshly prepared, and the quality was terrible. The staff at the restaurant was equally disappointing—rude, unresponsive, and full of attitude. They didn’t even bother acknowledging when I tried to speak to them. Later, I visited the bakery section Crème, where the carelessness continued. I was made to wait 20–30 minutes just to get a box packed in a bag. Despite repeatedly asking how long it would take, the staff seemed completely indifferent. To top it all off, the parking situation was a nightmare. The parking attendant was outright rude and refused to let us park in an available spot, saying it was “only for VIPs” and that no space was available for us. Overall, a terrible experience from start to finish—poor food quality, indifferent service, and extremely unprofessional staff. Would not recommend at all.

The servers were so so rude. They misbehaved and made faces at us. They were banging the plates and were threatening us to tip. Shocking experience, pls dont go there. We were literally scared by the way we were treated. There was a bald server who misbehaved the most. Horrible experience

Waste food, we ordered wazwan the most famous dish of kashmir, which is literally like curry in oil not oil in curry. We wasted our almost 5K+ here not even 1% good. Will never recommend anyone here.
