Soft dhosa served here with traditional south indian taste not gujarati or mumbai taste... good to have it sometimes but the most favourite maysore masala of surat is not available here also fancy dhosas too

as there limited places in surat that serve good south indian food, this one serves the authentic version. its a lil over hyped . food needs a lil more improvement

it's best restaurant for South Indian food its Just amazing 😍 the taste of food just feel like heaven 🤤 supperb I most recommend the place for food .

must visit if you are at surat. if you haven't been to central matunga...this is the place sadhya, filter coffee... takes us virtually beyond vindhyas

Ok first of all. How is this restaurant even part of "Surat's best" is beyond me. The staff looked like they had been forced to wear their lungis, by their owners and they are dead sad about it. Even when talking to us or serving. Secondly, though the Dosa was good. The Rasam was just barely more potable than Piss water. I drank cause I had paid for it. And beware, this is one of THOSE restaurant which charge more than MRP on the drinks they have. Surat needs to improve their Food quality in restaurants.

After seeing the 4.7⭐ rating i convince my whole family to visit the place and when i saw the waiting line, i was convinced the food would be somthing out of this world as i sat down on my table and looked upon the menu, I was puzzled & excited by all the new words being add to my vocabulary like "chetinaad", "Kuzhi" & "paniyaram" etc. I wished to taste their speciality so I asked for recommendations, my order consisted of some things new & some tried and tested. The service was fast & the aesthetic were amazing, food was served in brass utensils with a banana leaf in & the staff dressed in a white shirt & white lungii, I was ready for a authentic & tasty experience but the harsh reality set in as the first two dishes arrived, Chetinaad dosa & Mysore masala dosa with potato bhaji. Chetinaad was a glorified plain dosa with some seasoning here and there & mysore dosa was missing the mysore & only contained the masala dosa with unsalted potato subzi. At this point I was still hopeful as i waited for kuzhi paniyaram rice balls & when they arrive they look amazing but as soon as i ate them they where nothing more then deep fried idles this was the first half of our order & everything was a flop, so we decided to order the most basic item which is quite difficult to mess up: utthapam. We ordered 3 utthapam in total one onion & the rest masala, all of them were semi raw in the middle and soggy the seasoning was missing and as we finished our food the only tasty thing we all could agree on was the tomato chutney & sambar and the worst thing was in any south Indian theme restaurant sambar & chutney flow like the rivers but i dont recall even seeing them serving anyone seconds, maybe It was a busy night for them, I dont know but i hope that them being busy was the case. the food left much to be desired but currently my opinion is the food was mediocre at best. TLDR: below average food with amazing aesthetics, great presentation & fast service. PS: they did recommend some varity food which we were adamant on not ordering so the server request we try it and if we dont like it they will take it back & when it arrived we did try it & infact we did not like it & the server was nice enough to take it back & not charge us for it but sadly even this cannot redeem them. That 1⭐ is for the presentation & aesthetic. Everything above is my opinion & i don't wish to harm anyone's feelings. Thank you for your time.

l got the food with a huge plastic piece. And all they had to say was sorry, and my request to speak to the owner was dismissed. Worst experience ever

Very poor service.. no responsible person to attain.. filter coffee takes 30 mints to serve .. mendu vada was half cooked .. avoid on Sunday .
